Anyone into R/C?

Just ordered my body..thanks...was gunna do a hilux body but just cant see spending 100$ on a body...ordered metal axle housings and a holmes hobby 35T motor the other day...also converted the front 3 link to 4 link today...had no idea all the parts to do this came with the truck

 

Sweet. We need to go wheeling soon. I want to add a little weight to the front. Thinking about ordering the beadlocks and add some weight.

Some nice Honchos's, here's a few of my wraith with my new custom mods(roof, roll bars). I'm so ready to tear the trails up again. Oh and I waterproofed my rx with the balloon method and drilled holes in botton of rx box for water to drain. Gonna get servo done and should be good to go for a swim. In the kiddie pool anyhow.

 

Heres mine, nothing done to it as of now besides colormatching the body, got new wheels/tires coming friday along with cms and panhard. Hoping my links get here friday as well

Made some progress on my tf2. Done for today.

 

Mods done, all hand made SS links,flat bed,mirrored trans,battery tray, servo bearing and water proofed. Enjoy

Thinking about picking one of these up to join my losi 1/18 mrc pro, I just like the look of this, would definitely add a real light bar tho..

 

Why does it say vaterra on the side?
I had a mrc once I didn't like it I found it to be too small . but that was because I only had used 1/10 crawlers.

 

Vaterra is the brand who makes it, it basically a mrc with a cage, metal lockers, and waterproof. I love my mrc pro, its a fun very capable indoor crawler for the rainy days. I have a vaterra twin hammers and it is a awesome rig so i imagine this is along the same lines with durability.

 

Maybe I'll get a smaller one, I like the vaterra version, I gotta get my hands on one those light bars now

 

Ive handled one, they are a tank. Pretty heavy duty.

 

Yeah I like the vaterra look, seems the lightbar for it comes out this month sometime for like $15? Seems cheap but I havnt seen a pic of it.

My mrc pro is a great little crawler, I am just thinking of the slickrock cause its a more updated version.

 

I found the light bar for 5.99 but the leds sold separately for 15.99 both sold out, but I'm going to look around more

 

yeah I havnt found it anywhere in stock, best iv seen was due late January.

 

New Traxxas 12t in the Torment. 550 vs 540, seems like it may have picked up a few ponies. Gonna swap the 19t pinion out for a 18/20 and see what's best. Gonna get it race ready for my step son.
