Fuck yeah! It's always good shit! Worked with a few guys that will either take off and fly or just fly and have someone else do the take off and landing for them.

 Nah, these jets. Guys have the skill to fly them but not the confidence to put them on the ground. That AVP shit is cake, so much info in front of you to use.

Nice work Chris. The wind there NEVER gives pilots a break, I know as I've flown off that taxiway a number of times.

... BTW, nice landing  . Is that a YA/F-15? Kit or ARF? I ask because I have one (kit) ready to go. I just bought a JetCat P-140 for it.... I'm itching to to maiden it this Spring.

That was one of the early Skymaster ARFs. Yes the wind down there is always ripping across the tree and tents.

The new site and runway down there looks great!

My New England/New York buddies are long time regulars there at TopGun. They've also flown at Tiano's new grass strip... they say it's not bad at all. I gotta set some time aside to fly at TG again. :tumbleweed:

If you're not crashing, you're not flying :D. We've ALL done the 'walk of shame', walking back to the pit area with a pile of balsa that once was an airplane.... me included. :anonymous:

Grass strip sucked, horrible for the jets. He just put down asphalt in the past month or two, but I'm not sure if it's at the same site on the airport property or somewhere else.

Had a great day at the race track. Unfortunately my buggy is still waiting for parts, so all I could run there was the short course truck. Hoping to have the act, buggy, and summit all in working order for another track day next week

Put about 5 more miles on the Wraith. 5200mah 2s lipo's are so much better than NiMh's. Went all day on two batteries and never even hit the LVC and the power is Great. Here's a few pics from this morning.

so after sitting in storage for 6 months, the trenchers I haveon my short course no longer grip fro shit on the dirt course. gonna keep them for every day use since they hold up so great, but will be getting some track wheels and tires. any suggestions for a nice grippy tire? 100% track/race use, so I don't care about pavement/grass/bashing/sand/longevity/etc. just dirt.

I dont race much on tracks as of yet, but i use the Proline Gladiator in the medium compound for general use and grip really well on outdoor red dirt. They make it in a soft compound now also. Some guys at a indoor clay track use a really soft tire but not sure which one but best i can tell they still slip everywhere.

i'll go soft with whatever tire I choose. looking for maximum traction. not concerned about longevity.

the track that we've started going to is 10th scale, but I swear the larger jumps could be 8th. with some really short run-ups to the launch, if you can't hook up, you're going nose first into a 4' wall.

I'm a big fan of gen ace lipos, cheap and just as reliable as any other brands iv had.
