what are you using to cut the body. you're lines are a lot cleaner than mine. i just ahve an exacto knife, and a pair of budy cutting scisors with the curved tip. maybe i just need more practice.

and are you painting with an airbrush? i was talking with a friend, and am considering getting a small airbrush setup.

turned out real nice. i need to start with the liquid mask. painters tape and an exacto jsut doesn't give quite as clean of a line.

Has anyone seen or have experience with the 1/8th scale MadBeast monster truck? Just because of the price, I'm thinking about getting one.

got the 1/10th scake 4wd buggy up and running for the track this weekend.

new chasis, new wheels and tires, new front shock tower, and rebuilt the shocks.

still need to install the waterproof reciever box i got for it, and then get rid of the hideous/poor fitting body. but those two things can wait till next week.

should also be getting my brother's old jato in the mail today, and starting the custom brushless conversion.

This is the hpi sprint 2 flux. Brushless model. 53mph with a 2s. With hpi rims and drift tires. It's a blast. More Fun when there are other vehicles.

I'd get the same one if I had to do it over again. I like having the extra power with the brushless motor. Most of the guys that I drift with have this model. I think one has the sprint 2 drift. Brushed motor and it came with drift tires. Wish they made a flux version with drift tires.. oh well... tires for this aren't bad at all.

ah, gotcha. so you put in the brushless aftermarket. what KV system did you go with? I know how to gauge KV ratings for trucks pretty well, but never picked out motors for a car.
