Got to spend a little bit of time at the track this weekend with the summit-gone-revo. The thing is an absolute monster. wherever you point it, it goes. this kind of surprised me, since i'm on soft foamed, soft sidewall "all terrain" tires. I also hadn't really realized how durable the truck is until now. took some serious hits and tumbles, and never broke a thing. might pick up some 8th scale dish wheels and track tires for the track next weekend, but for now, it's back to the long travel rockers for some after work rock play :D

Hoping to hit up the 1/8th scale trace this weekend. never been to this one yet, but it's only 40 minutes away. place is huge, and covered, so no rain delays/cancelations :)

Nice! Did you make custom bed sides for it? Thought the kit just had the cab with open bed/cage.

Yep, that would be mikes. Been watching all of the videos on it today. Looks like a fantastic track. Only downside I've heard about it, is that it eats tires.

thats a good track for sure! Most "good" tracks eat up tires lol people sacrifice tires for traction which i think is dumb. but oh well.

I'll just run what I have. If I need new tires half way through the day, so be it.

well poo. just called Mikes, and they are hosting a statewide race this weekend. guess i'll have to go to a different track and save mike's for next weekend.

We're doing pretty well, but not on your level, Michael. we've got 5-6 tracks within an hour, but only one is covered.

got 2-3 indoor tracks, but they're on-road courses.

Thanks for posting that. guys like him are why i enjoy sports/hobbies like this so much. you find a much greater concentration of guys and gals of his calibur in the less popular hobbies (RC, off roading, etc) than you do in the big ones (football, soccer, etc).

    :frusty:

broke a front dogbone today (at least I think that's whats broken"...not real sure how as I wasn't driving hard or anything

I suspect that the other day when a screw fell out of my c hub, it messed up the dogbone...so now I get to pull that and let the wraith sit for a few days while I wait on parts

I've got a leaky front shock too so I'm ordering some aluminum shocks for the front too

Why don't you just replace the o rings on the shocks instead of buying g all new shocks?

Because I'm an idiot and fouled up the threading on the shock body on the leaky one fucking with it trying to figure out where it was leaking from
