    you should enjoy your blitz, it is the efirestorm chassis its very light, and works well at any speed, mines built for top speed but it was great on lower speed too

    Started the tear down of Hunter's old bruiser today

    Body is in good shape, motor is good. Doesn't look like the servos/receiver saw much water but haven't been able to test them yet

    Frame/springs and a few small metal parts have some rust on them, and there is a LOT of grime and mud built up

    Currently soaking metal parts in a vinegar bath to loosen up some of the surface rust and caked on crap...

    I hope I can remember how it all goes back together :anonymous:

    I will need to replace the bumpers, and some of the rubber parts like shock boots and a couple of bushings and I gotta put new shock oil in the shocks and it's gonna need new tires

    Outside of that, I'm probably gonna upgrade the electronics and move away from the resistors and MSC and put in a new ESC and 2 new servos and call it a day.

    I may see about pushing new bearings into the axles and hubs, but the current stuff seems to be working ok and spinning pretty smooth

    lipos are better cuz they last longer lol. just easier and cheaper.

    it currently has 3

    1 for mechanical speed controller
    1 for steering
    1 for shifting gears (3 speed tranny)


    removing the MSC and resistors and replacing them with an ESC will eliminate 1 servo

    I could eliminate a 2nd and have it locked into low gear, but I don't particularly feel like digging into the tranny right now
