I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    x2

I also hate the way people look at you when you are playing with them on campus. My campus is awesome for rc cars.

When people see me playing with it i just do a 0-60 run in front of them and they are like damn, that thing is fast.

Haha when I brought home my HPI and drove it halfway down my driveway basically my WHOLE street was at my house...... Good times.

I still will get that when I get the E-Revo or Summit (Brushless of course :))

Brushless motors are motors that have no coil copper wire in them. Because they dont have any coils there is less drag and thus more speed.

Like Isocoee said its a lithium polymer battery that has 2 or 3 times more charge capacity. And also gives out a HUGE voltage output for the brushless motor.

ESC also is a factor in this too. For the immense voltage and higher speeds the ESC has to be bigger and better. It controls all of the gears (R and F) and the voltage that the LiPo is giving out.

If you go to Answers.com and type in this stuff it will give you better details

I like associated, i used to run the rc10gt back in the day, don't like OFNA's after the hyper 7 fiasco i had awhile ago, odonnell makes the best fuels out there period, but i didn't know they made cars, hot bodies is a fairly newer company but make good rides. Their are tons out there, if i were to go 100% i would go with a Kyosho or a mugen, they have been making the best for years.

check on rcuniverse.... I got my rc18t broken for 40 bucks. what was broken was the motor and thats exactly what i replaced. every now and then you find a good set up for the cheap. I think mine all together cost me 120.

edit: also watch hobby town. I caught the one in huntsville when it was closing and got my mini-lst new for 60 bucks (were 200) and pretty much every part to build and rc18t minus the electronics for 15.

Yeah the truck i got was used from Hobbytown. It was orginally 415.00 and i got it fore 369.00 (the guy only had it long enough to break in the motor)

If I can find something like what you got i will jump all over it.

What type of nitro is everyone using? I use O'donnell 30%. I only bash my truck, so 30% sounds weird but it runs cooling on 30%. I just don't lean it out as much.
