Yes, due to a increasing internal resistance. This "sounds" like a positive, but those extra volts are run off VERY fast at the top of your charge. Then the bad cell/cells (the one/ones with the resistance) are dragging the rest down. These cells can be indentified by feeling of the packs while charging, they will get warmer quicker than the other cells.

Nice setup Eric! Have the same charger and Lipo in my slash. 3s is overkill, IMO. It's hard enough to keep the front end down with a 2s 40c.

Thanks, im new to the electric stuff, always ran nitro. I dont plan on getting a 3s anytime soon if ever, ill stay with the 2s unless I get sucked into this hobby heavily again, haha. My dad picked up a 4x4 stampede when he bought my slash, hes already running his 2s 40c lipo and that thing wont keep the wheels down at all so I think it will be just fine in the slash.

    well, crap

the more i find on this Exo, the more i realize that the motor/ESC combo may not work well in it.
may have to go with a 550 size (maybe a Viper system)

may be a little small for the Exo (pretty big rig).
will have to try it out first, but i may have it up for sale after trying.

it is the Novak Havoc 3S combo (already put deans ultra connectors on)

i hear ya... im running brushless with LiPo so i was only half throttle when i shot that test footage... hahaha...

i tried it on my HPI RS4 on-road, but it was a lot smoother on the Slash than the car...

im sure they could work on the Stampede, but the company i got them from specifically made them for the Slash...

for my old Stampede, i used the stock front arms from an XTM Xcel
