A better article on batteries. The speed controller for the Traxxis can handle LiPo or NiMH. You can switch between the two.

I turned my Trail Trekker into this:
    d82a0ac9e6a7af7afe422eeff2817914_0d1c4eff328c50f0ca17291b1f6a55f5ade9c7eb.jpg

I had to use a MicroRockCrawler chassis to get the body to sit right. I'm working on some rear steer right now.

    Build thread in sig...
Anyone know of a decent 1 channel wireless switch? need something that can run on 12 volts, and at the very minimum, supply the amperage to fire a standard 35 amp automotive relay. looking for something with a latched switch (1 click on, 1 click off). I can easily get one that will fire a relay from 50-100 yards away, but the ones that can go 1/4 mile + are all 8-12 relay boards with remotes the size of a cell phone. looking for something the size of a key fob if possible. figured maybe there would be something in the RC world, since there are 2+channel transmitters that can handle that distance.

well, now that im stuck at home on disability, i figured i would resurrect my toys in the garage... here are the first few that i dusted off this week... got about 4 more storage cases to dust off...

    HPI Mini Trophy brushless
    [IMG]

HPI RS4 belt driven i have had since 1998 i think. On 17t brushed with lipo

My current crawler. I have never had an actual kit. Got into crawling before the fancy kits came out, so i typically used axles from Tamiya TLTs, trannys from Traxxas Stampedes, drivelines from Jatos, and miscellaneous linkage sets. This one is on 55t brushed on lipo. The 85t may go into it next.

Love that HPI Bronco body. I want one bad.

I got 3 of mine back operation this morning...I had a package from USPS yesterday. I got another one today to hopefully finish my rear steer Trail Trekker.

So now my 11 year old daughter has taken an interest and she bought her own stadium truck. It's a hunk of junk that can't seem to go very fast, but it's cool while she learns how to maneuver...

    Her DHK Razr
    [IMG]
So i dusted off and charged up my old stadium truck. For a cheap little brushless, this thing just tears shit up.
