Very nice. On 2.2's, i assume it will be an oversized 1:10 scale like the yeti?

I've heard good things about them. When I converted mine I spent the money and got the kit from HPI, it came out good. I moved away from nitro as well, went electric and gas instead.

Damn... I was sold on a slash 4x4, then the Yeti SCORE truck, now this mofo drops..

Love the waterproof feature of the slash and all around bashability.. But the SCORE truck is just badass.. And that rear 4 link plus detailed scale.. The bomber looks just as awesome too..

The bomber looks cool but not sure how durable it will be if you tune it to be as fast as a Slash. It's essentially a crawler with 2 solid axles. Beefing up the driveshafts alone will cost $100. Then to upgrade the motor from 35turn brushed to brushless. Just get both. Haha

I think if I were to do 2 RC's.. I would do an Axial Crawler and a Slash 4x4. The Yeti platforms are nice just because they are a mix of both. would alleviate the need for two RC's.

I like my yeti so far. Great mix of crawling and speed. Just need to work on locking the front diff now or maybe a super thick oil

i heard today that Axial just got bought out by Hobbico. Could explain why they are releasing so many new cars all at once...

Finished up the brushless conversion last night.

Replacing the gear in the two speed tranny with the Flux gearset. So it's now a single speed with no one way bearing so the esc can take over braking duty as well.
I still have a 3 speed tranny, I may mess around with that another day.

The LCG mount and a 2350KV brushless.
Currently using 13/51. Will be changing to 15/43 for a bit more speed

The kit came with plastic battery trays and aluminum mounts. I had already made my own mounts because I'm using 3S 2250 65C lipo's, so will use them for now. I will be using 4S power in the near future.

Not the best ESC, has a little cogging at low speeds but who drives a Savage at slow speeds anyway...I'll run it until I smoke it.

    Shakedown/Snow run.

    Happy with the conversion.

    Starting a little build.

Losi 1/24 Micro Rally/SCT. I'm starting with a f150 styled body and am on the look out for something else. I just need a motor and servo to get it running.

Just got back into rc , picked up a wraith a month and a half ago... put a Holmes 35 torque master in it and a sidewinder 3 with a hightec hs 7955tg servo and a couple other goodies on it...

My little 2500mah packs were not up to the task of full throttle punch outs and the run time was a bit short. But they are also several years old.
I have a few of these sticks of dynamite for a helicopter, and thought I would re-purpose one for the Savage.

So I split a pack in half, and now have a pair of 3S 4000mah packs that are capable of 120 amp continuous discharge.

And installed the battery trays that came with the kit from Kershaw Designs.

And a wheelie bar to help keep the rubber side down.

    :D

And I re-purposed the Dodge Power Wagon body that came with my AX10 but was really too big for rock crawler duty. Fits pretty good too.
