Well, depending on how this season (and my life) go, I may be getting out of racing, in which case the T4s would have to go. I have a ton of spare parts too, so basically two complete race setups. Wouldn't be cheap, though, but if I decide on it I'll post here too.

what i mean by mod is, will you run a motor with a lower turn than 17.5? ie. 7.5t 8.5t etc etc. like @Metalnut suggested i really recommend the Hobbywing line of products. I know the brand manager personally and he is very knowledgeable in both onroad and offroad electronic applications.

I have used the Hobbwying JustStock and the Hobbywing V3.1 Stock spec in my rides and have had great luck with both. Plus Falcon Sekido will warranty any Hobbywing products if you purchase through them and they are here in California.

If you're going to run with a 17.5t motor only then the new JustStock is a great affordable option . Here it is in my Team Associated T5M. (There's a newer version now)

And here's the V3.1 Stock Spec in my B5M lite

Go find the guy on the right he's at snowbirds. His name is Ron Schuur tell him Michael Barrios from California said if he could give you some info on the Hobbywing esc's and check out his Schuur Speed motors while you're at it.

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
all the recent rc talk has gotten me excited again. seems like somehow, RCing has become my winter hobby.

headed up to the mountain house in 2 weeks, so I'm going to get some of the fleet back up and running. Crawler just needs a tune up, and maybe a new battery or two. ordered a new ESC and some aluminum beadlocks for the twin hammers. gotta look at the E-Jato, but I think all that I need for that is to replace the tire I shredded over the summer. i'll have to pick up some more 3S batteries for the twin hammers and Jato as well I guess.

would love to get the summit up and running in time, but I have it torn to pieces to rebuild the diffs with hardened gears, and a billit housing. likely won't be done in time.

Are these a oem replacement/upgrade? Or an aftermarket part? Looks good.

Can the frame and wheel base be lengthened on the SCX10 models? Like for example can the Dingo kit be stretched to the Honcho wheelbase?

The links just need to be changed out to whatever wheelbase you want. The driveshafts may need to be modded or changed at the extreme ends.

The driveshafts work across them all. It's the links. And be patient if you can they are redoing their lineup for 2016 and the rtr/kit offerings will change

When I stretched my Honcho to fit the Proline f2fiddy body I had to get longer driveshafts. When I tried to put a Trail Finder lexan body on I would have had to trim them some. But these are non Axial bodies.

MIP driveshafts come in several lengths and have some wiggle room

I put some of the Axial Wild Boars on the Brodozer and they've held up so far. MIPs look real nice hanging there at the LHS.

Novak motors are decent, but their ESCs are pretty outdated and have issues. I would definitely get a Tekin Roc412 motor and either a Tekin or Castle ESC.
