Could buy a wraith and custom fit an scx10 trail honcho body to it as well... it will look like a toyota then... you just have to cut the back half of the cage... i had one like that

Get both. One for bashing, one for scale coolness.

I have the Deadbolt myself and it is a very capable RTR. I'm in the process of switching over to the Honcho body. This is my starting mock up

Agreed that the RC4WD and Tamiyas are very scale but lack flex ability. They also have hard shell bodies vs. lexan.

I have heard good things about the newer SCX10 2 but it comes down to what you want to spend. I personally like the plastic links cause I feel they slide over stuff better.

I used to be into racing nitro hydro boats 15 years ago. I think the club was NAMBA. Local cities started getting strict about nitro fuel and oil in the water. Cool thing about boats we could run up to 60% nitro because motors were water cooled.

I got tired of breaking front bumpers on my dromida, so this afternoon i fabbed a new bumper out of some aluminum i had in my garage. I traced the old one and cut the rough shape with a hacksaw, then shaped it further and trimmed it with a die grinder. Eventually I'll pull it back off and paint it

The bed is actually from the new Hilux SR5 body from Proline. The cab is the original Honcho. I'm just going to piece them together but I did see someone selling bed panels that went around the original Honcho bed cage on ebay.

I've been out of the R/C world for a few years, is SC racing still a thing? It used to be really popular but it seems like it died out.

A company called Dinky makes a set of bedsides that has more of a Ironman/desert racing look.

Racing is still out there but it isn't where I am. There should be something out in Cali where you're at and lots of the colder states that actually have winters race indoors.

Anyone interested in buying a Mini e-revo? Comes with 3 sets of tires, 5 NIMH batteries, 1 Lipo battery, a ton of spare parts and it's got a few upgrades on it.
