Anyone know who I would contact about missing parts in my kit? I'm missing a pin and a slipper pad so far. So the transmission/transfer case cannot go together.

Start with whomever you got it from. Or hit your LHS and get more parts.

I just got an SCX10 II kit, and it was missing parts as well. Like an extra trans gear, but no pinion...

My son has a red cat rock crawler and he fried the steering servo. Am I stuck buying a stock one or can it be upgraded?

    Can't help you,on the pinion
first, find out why it fried..
Looks like the esc bec is only 6volt, so that would not be the reason.
You can definitely upgrade the servo. It's just a matter of how much you want to spend. You might also want to install a servo saver to protect the servo. Plenty of options out there, I like Savox servos, but you will hear lot of opinions out there...

    image.jpg Finished! It's a rolling chassis now, but I have a question!

I have a spare 17.5 motor for my GT Touring car. Can I use that with this SCX10 ii? I'm on a budget.

I would think so if the pinion gear will fit. It should work. If not find the right pinion and go to town.

Great. I'm looking at the vanquish ESC for my SCX10 ii as well.
The steering servo and ESC can handle water right?

I am clueless as far as servos... I got my own issues with a fried servo at the moment. The motor I have a little knowledge. It's electric right. So the leads are positive and negative which wont change no matter what car or truck you put It on as long as bracket to hold it and pinion gear fits properly. The only thing I can see happening is it will be to powerful or not enough for transmission gears.

Use the smallest pinion you can find and it should be OK.
