Anyone into R/C?

USPS tracking sucks....shows my Bomber is here in Oklahoma City, but that it's still scheduled to be delivered Friday...WTF

So I figured something out finally.

I was super disappointed with the travel after building my SCX10.2 Kit. So I took the shocks apart tonight and rebuilt them but this time only filling them 75%. The difference is night and day. I also repositioned the rear shocks down lower by screwing them into the body posts. I haven't ran it yet, but the travel seems to be great.

I usually back the preload tensioner off until there's slack in the spring. Then tighten up just enough to stay put.

 

My bomber is out for delivery

 

Finished. I messed up by forgetting to mask the windows but oh well! It still looks awesome IMHO. Watcha think?

My Losi Mini 8ight-T seriously breaks every time I drive it. I'm pretty annoyed. I don't even wreck it at the track and it still breaks. Even my big 8ight-t 3.0 has been giving me problems. My Typhon buggy has been great though. You guys ever get to the point with a vehicle that you don't know if you should just go over it and start replacing/upgrading a ton of stuff to make it bulletproof or just cut your losses and sell? That is about where I am at with both of those truggies.

 

I should run mine this weekend just to charge the batteries again so they don't begin to lose all power

I've had good luck with my Wraiths. But I don't beat them as hard as I should.

Got a few upgrades on the Bomber already... I got set of aluminum panels as well... Just gotta figure out how I wanna do them up.

 

I wrapped mine in vinyl for a different look.
