For anyone with an Arrma vehicle, Voltage Hobbies has some really cool shock tower upgrades. I added them to my Typhon. It looks amazing and really well built. I think they have them for Typhon, Talion, Kraton and maybe some others. Highly recommended.

Soooo... I have a set of 2.2 Ripsaws on Method Beadlocks for sale. Asking $80.

Also, has anyone bought the shock relocation kit for the SCX10.2? I ordered it yesterday, just wondering if there's any benefit.

Disclaimer: I AM NOT A BOAT BUILDER.

I was playing with that cutter and started building a micro outrigger a few days ago using 1/64" ply. I didn't realize it's $12 for a sheet of 6x12". If there's another then it'll be the slightly heavier 1/32" for $6/sheet. It's all functional today and I'm waiting on the glue to dry on the top deck then figure out how to seal the access holes. I found a 3900kV 1516 outrunner that I think will do well. The only small brushless ESC I had that works is a 10a. So I hope it holds up.

    A few days ago.

Prior to gluing the top deck this morning. I ended up using a piece of scrap lexan to move the rudder clear of the prop. I'd seen this done on the internetz.

She'll fly but doesn't turn well at all at speed without a turn fin. I made some lexan hatches that makes it easy to see water intrusion and problems like fire. Fire at sea can be catastrophic...

    enough to go over stuff
So I've had a wraith with a honcho body a little over 2 years. I have a 55t motor, locked diffs and weighted wheels. It's mostly a Frankenstein but I've enjoyed keeping it running. Broke almost everything plastic on it. I recently decided I wanted to build a new one that is strong from scratch. I ordered mostly alloy parts and I'm excited to build it. I can tear my real truck apart but I'm not as knowledgeable with RC. Since I have a kid on the way and some down time I thought this would be a fun less expensive build then my 1:1. Below is my current wraith and some of the parts I ordered for the new build.

Some of those are Chinese cast aluminum and may not hold up to much abuse. Namely the links and driveshafts...but they may. I just ran mine around the yard for a few minutes and I've got a Traxxas 550 21t paired with a HobbyWing 1080 ESC. It's a lot better than the AE-5, IMO. I've burnt up 2 AE-5s and still run 1 with another as backup to that one. I'll also suggest a droop kit or shorter shocks. I felt the 100mm Wraith shocks too tall for me and I went with 2 pairs of 92mm Yeti RTR front shocks and love them.

That Honcho body looks good on there, too. Looks and fits like a bobbed tail Tacoma.

I also like the Honcho body, I'm not a big fan of the buggy look.

I got my old jet boat back running. I just need to tie in the water cooling jacket and it'll be good to go.
