Did the battery forward mod today, aluminum driveshafts, rear lid to cover the old battery tray and ESC, added a rear Gear head light bar, removed rear tail lights, and relocated On/Off switch for easier access. What's next?!

I see your battery wire. If you haven't done a hood mod then do that. I've got a bought forward mounting plate, CI I think it is it was in a used chassis, and then mount the ESC forward, too, and all wiring would be tucked. I used some pieces from a Yeti parts tree for hinges. A strip of Velcro under the hood holds it down.

Plus a driver or even a copilot, too, like Luke and Butch.

Curious to know what you mean by a 'hood mod'?

Velcro.... how does something so simple seem so brilliant? The body clips on my hood are the one thing I dont like about my wraith, velcro never crossed my mind!

I've got a cross bar so that the lower half of Velcro can make contact with the cowl hood shape. The 'hinges' look like the single wire holders that use a single fastener.

This is the best pic on my phone.

Aha, nice idea. What is keeping your battery from rattling around?

I run a large 5000mAh 2s and just by lay the wiring across it kind of wedges it in. If I ran a slimmer battery I would use a Velcro strap like what comes with most Axial rigs and cinch it down. But a 2-3" strip of some Velcro tape would suffice.

The esc is double sided stickies on the forward side of the tray. The tray is a simple idea and can replicated with a little patience using any medium stiff enough to support the weight of the battery. If I get time in the upcoming weeks I'll remove the tray and scan it like I did the body panels a few pages back.

Just procured a used RTR Twin Hammers with DX4C Tx/Rx in good shape online this morning. Helluva deal, I think, at $160. Excited about this deal because I've been wanting a TH for quite some time now. I should have my hands on it in a week or so. Seller will include the original spare as well.

I know, right. Just hope the tranny gears are all one piece. But he said it was 100% stock electronics and I doubt that a stock brushed motor would strip any driveline parts.

    Edit:
The RTR with that 4ch Tx works lights and the two speed.
