Why is there a bed on the box picture but doesn't have one on the truck? I wonder if that will get released later.

More pics please. Mine hasn't arrived yet for some reason either. How about some body width measurements so I'll have an idea of what axles I wanna get.

The SG4 looks very cool. I was perusing Aliexpress the other day and saw it listed for over $1000. Canadian dollars however...

I wonder if the weathered body is to show what can be done with it or an option

Hope I'm not over stepping bounds here, I'm getting out of the hobby, I have two RC cars for sale both electric, a 1/10 custom build and another E-Revo build, any idea what these are worth? Was thinking $400 for the E-Revo with the MIP and TRAXXAS axels and $240 for the 1/10 circuit/drift car?

LOL. That servo is a joke. Same as on the other WPL. Can you measure one more? Across the hood as to how wide it is fender to fender?

There’s a 3D print file available that is a 5mm to 7mm hex adapter so you can run regular 1” micro wheels. I’d have to dig around a couple of threads to find it though.

    Yea servo is complete junk.

    Pros
    Looks cool
    More details then I expected
    And looks cool

    Cons
    Servo is junk
Motor has no power, no torque to actually do much
The suspension is complete junk, so much play in all the parts, internals in sure are all plastic

Warning things might not go back together after disassembly due to screws tearing out threads.

    Future plans
    Real functional servo
    Metal links
    Real shocks
    Function motor
And new esc to run it

Can anyone give an educated guess as to what chassis the body might fit on?

With the width at 4.75" it is around 120mm. The best candidate for donor axles is slim.

From my notes for hex to hex measurements these are the closest that I have noted:
    Gelande 1/18 - 92mm/3.6"
    Redcat Everest 16 - 133mm
    1/24 ECX Barrage - 102mm/4"

Now take these lengths and add on the wheels then you'll see where the size of these bodies is a problem. The E16 uses a 12mm hex and the other two use the 7mm micro hex, IIRC. I'm thinking a Redcat Sumo is about the same as the 1/24 Barrage and the wider hexes from the Trail Trekker can be used on it. This would bring the width to maybe 110-115mm which would put it close. Then get some shapeways wheels from Fungi with a proper fitting offset and be done...after swapping the Sumo tranny over and modding the links. I'll look into that 1/14 Thunder Tiger to see if it has parts available still. I may just go ahead and order a second one to look at and go to work on the first one.

    LOL. Cheap is never easy.

It’s cool, but 1/24 is just too small to get my interest. ECX released a larger scale Barrage, 1/12 or 1/14 that has caught my attention though. It has a wheelbase that looks to be compatible with a lot of Tamiya hardbodies.

1/24 is fun to have for bad weather days. A few times a year type thing for me. I've got the 1/32 Orlandoo in a box for over a year. Built it and drove it maybe 5 minutes total. Then boxed it up because it's useless. It won't handle much of any terrain over it's scale because it's....so scale. It's smaller then a smart phone.

I enjoy the Vaterra Slickrock for indoor play. I believe it is 1/16. It’s pretty small, but still quite capable for some decent climbing

Would be so kind as to measure the length of the shock? Then I think I’m done asking.

The width is the killer. Your Slicktock axles are about 140mm/5.5” wide with out wheels. So even those would stick out like a set of 1tons under a 1:1 Yota even if this one were 5” wide. There’d be no tire underneath it at all. Ima do some research on widening the micro axles 10mm or so. There’s a guy on RCC that converted the axle from a Yeti Jr, but even that’s too wide, IMO, at 145mm with narrow hexes.

Good thing I’m working nights and it’s slow. So now I’ve got free time on dial up speed internet.
