    Anyone seen my wallet?
Anyone interested in a cheap hobao/ofna hyper SSe 8th scale buggy? Ill do 120 shipped on this thing with no rx/tx, add 20 for a sanwa mx-v rx/tx.

Its fast as hell on 4s, hw esc, castle 2200kv motor, savox servo, brand new AE wheels and tires. Body doesnt look as clean as does in the pic now but still in one piece. I can take current pics if interested.

This isnt a race car but its a damn fast basher or if you want to see what driving an 8th scale 4s buggy is like.

So the rest of the parts I need for the slayer will be here today. I hope to have it running this weekend. I decided to tear the engine all the way down and I'm glad I did. Both of the main bearing were very dirty so I cleaned them with degreaser and put a couple drops of oil on them and they are butter smooth again. It was a huge pain to get the sleeve out even with heat but it finally came out.

All that's left is to clean the carb, install the new reciever box and hook up the wiring, install the fuel tank and mount the engine, and install a new glow plug wire.

I sure hope it starts after all of the work and money I put into it. I can't wait!

    That's awesome!

I just got mine started after almost 6 years of sitting. And it still runs like a champ!

I had some friends into rc and it was never my thing. They finally broke me down and I got an axial scx10 ii with the cherroke body. Im a little ashamed to admit how much I enjoy rippin it up with the tiny trucks.

When I got it I told myself I was going to leave it stock. Little ashamed in how that turned out.

Haha. It's funny how that works. Now that mine is running again I want to do some upgrades as well. I think I will be adding a sway bar kit soon.

I have a question for you guys. My truck is leaking fuel out of the filler cap O-ring and the idle is all over the place and keeps dying. Could these two issues be related?

Is the cap sealing or the fuel being forced out?

I just took the fuel tank of and confirmed it was leaking just by turning it upside down. I got it to not leak and it's better and will idle most of the time but randomly dies. Other than that it's running great.

Yeah. I'm new to rc. But what I've learned so far. Things will break but everything is pretty cheap and easy to fix. Fun little hobby!

Well I think I may need to rebuild the engine in my slayer. When I put everything back together I could hold the engine sideways for about 15 seconds before it would overcome the compression. Now it won't hold at all. Also when it would stall it would take a couple minutes to get it started again. Do you guys agree that I need to rebuild it? It seems strange to me that it lost that much compression in three tanks of fuel. It was running on the rich side too. Nowhere close to lean.
