I can't speak for the other two but my SC10 has really been tough as snot for me. With the exception of the motor taking a shit. Then again, I did get it waaay more wet than it should have ever thought about being. I'm going brushless soon anyway. The SC10 probably isn't as tough as a blitz (don't really know) but it isn't fragile by any means.

I just love how quick on it's "feet" it is. Handles like a boss.

 

the new losi is a pig..ive seen it run straight into a wall and finish a race like nothing happened.. its also dominating my local track

 

You can't beat the price of the Blitz either - I may have to pull the trigger on it soon.

How much are they going for these days?

 

I own both and i have to say my 4x4 slash is more durable i've taken in on some sweet jumps flipped it many times and I haven't broken anything I was thinking about buying rpm arms and bumper but i've had it for a year and haven't broken anything yet...

Now on my blitz I broke and arm when I ran into another racer. So I just rpm the whole thing. With the sidewinder sct brush less engine and now it's bullet proof. I love them both!

 

It just hit me.

It is the most popular, but far from the best. Traxxas is such a huge company, I bet it's only a matter of time before they start selling there stuff at Walmart.

Wondering which KV rating to go with...

Going in a 2wd SC10. I'll be running 6 cell NiMh and 2s LiPo batteries. There's a small chance I'll get brave and get a 3S LiPo at some point. Not sure.

Anybody know if they are looking to replace the Blitz with something new in the near future? I was looking at the Apache too, but I don't know if I'm ready to get into the 1/8th scene.

I still have my brand new SCX10 that I just unboxed two days ago - still need to get that thing powered up so I can start breaking shit.

I can't decide on a 2WD race truck or a full on 4WD crawler... This is my first RC truck and first RC in years... Spent a hour at the hobby shop looking over everything today only to leave empty handed...

 

The Blitz won't get replaced anytime soon
