So after looking for wheels I realized they were sitting in front of me on my Slash. They actually look like they were based on sequoia wheels and they have bfg mud terrains already on them

I didn't realize it was a Twin Hammers chassis you were using.

just ordered the new proline racing beadlocks. They are a simple design. The rc4wd beadlocks I have suck. They use to many screws. I have a set of proline beadlocks I use for my slash and the design is so easy to swap tires. I got the 2 stage foams as well. I am going to try and just unglue the bfg tires I have on my stock wheels. So happy, my tires have had water soaked foams for to long.

Anyone with a slash and a ez peak plus charger? I have the charger and 2 5000mah nimh batteries, and it seems like they’re not charging. I’ll set them to charge and it will complete, but when I plug them in, there’s like less than 50% power. I’ll plug them in again and it will go through the cycle and complete, and one time one of them was good. It had full power, since, haven’t been able to get a good run out of them. This started happening about a week ago. My whole setup is only 2 months old.

Can you reset the charger somehow.most chargers I've dealt with charge till the battery is full and then just maintains a charge or you set them at 8.4v 5000mah (Nimh) and let it charge. But if you just plug it in maybe it's set only to charge say 2500 mah so it'll give you a half charge. That's my experience with Nimh chargers but I've never had your specific charger before

Also look on the local forum maybe you can borrow a charger or check a local hobby store and have them take a look at it and make sure it's all good. Nothing wrong with asking

Yes it was the only way I found to have a functional ifs and SAS rear. The other option I considered was the Tamiya cc01 I think but it's a very short wheel base and in my opinion doesn't flex like the TH

Also got the light kit in so I got full functional lights, just waiting on chassis parts now

You can get an axial deadbolt or trail honcho 2 for 250-350, add 50-80 for a decent charger and a cpl batts. 1 5000mah batt will last hours in a crawler.

Some action pics of a modded scx10 deadbolt and a custom build

If your wanting to spend even less you could look into redcat crawlers. There cheapest is around 160 with everything, or look at the redcat everest gen 7 it starts at 200 new with everything.

I just ordered a Axial Deadbolt 2 for my wife, well for me kinda haha. I will post some pics when it shows. Got a 2s lipo battery for it and a venom charger. 468 total. I have traxxas batteries and charger so it cost to get going but I really wanted to try an axial truck. I will for sure make some good crawl videos.

I’m taking one of my Wraiths on a road trip next week. It got a fresh paint job today so it looks a little better.
