Depending on what it is that needs loctite I put the loctite on the thread and let it sit over night or I put it on the thread and install whatever it is and let that dry. For example if your nuts that hold your wheels keep coming loose I'd loctite the threads (spread it) let it dry once dry install wheels that way they be on tighter but the nut won't be technically loctited in so it won't be so hard to remove,, because tires are always being taken on off I don't want to make them that hard to remove.
    Just my thought

I broke down and ordered a large sack of (nylock) nuts off of fleaBay. The wheels call for m4. After a few uses I’ll toss them for new ones. But prior to this purchase I had a little luck reheating the nylon with a lighter or hot air gun.

Use CA, contact adhesive, on the bolts that seem to back out of the plastics.

Some 5mm pinion gears should solve that.

Got the bruiser clone in today. Mine is missing a few things I know it should have. The driver's side mirror is missing and so are the windshield wipers and decals. The truck runs just fine on the 2s lipo but the unlocked diffs don't allow it to rockcrawl much on the hard tires it has. They said they will check on my missing stuff and see what options I have. I am pretty happy with the truck but the front passenger shock is leaking oil and I really wish this came complete or as a kit with no electronics.

What are the axles made from? Plastic? Metal? How good is the quality over all?

pot metal, everything is actually metal, except body bumpers sliders and battery tray/ recevier box... I think the quality is solid. I expected a lot of missing screws or grinding gears or things that clearly didnt work out right. The steering servo is sorta weak and the links are thin but I will not be crawling it as hard as an scx10. I say offer them the 230-240 and see what they say if you are remotely interested. if you always wanted a bruiser without the 1k investment then go for it.

and apparently the windshield wipers were there but I am missing decals and a drivers side mirror. I wonder if they thought it was rhd and only needed a drivers side mirror?

Upon further reading I've come across multiple places where the mirrors are missing in both the 85 and rerelease in 12. Not sure if they were not added when built or missing from kit or what.

That's strange. If it's missing so much you could rehome it

That knock off Bruiser looks amazingly good. Too bad it’s missing half the accessory kit.
