Anyone into R/C?

I need shocks also I think ima just order some of those Chinese wannabe king shocks but ima go 120mm for a Ridgecrest monster truck build

 

I tried set of knock off Kings, they leaked every bit of fluid I put in them. Lol. I’m looking for a set that are bullet proof.

 

I've read good things about Traxxas big bore and kyoshos I might get some big bores to try out. They have both 92 and 100mm

 

Yep. If you can find some Team Associated or Losi SCT shocks the right length those ar good also.

 

I read up on them and the newer ones use Tamiya o rings (so there sorta rebuildable) and they recommend silicone grease on the o rings before running them to prevent leaks. I'll see how true this is by the weekend

 

Well, let me know. I picked up a set of TRX4 shocks to use in my wraith. I like them so far.

 

I found some traxxas gts shocks that feel nice by whoever built them. I may rebuild them myself soon. I think they are the upgrade for a trx4

 

They look nice, came with about 2 drops of oil in them just to have enough lube to slide in and out haha. So I I'll be taking them apart also picked up some random aluminum peices for the ar60 axles ($3) for a cheap deal. I'm just not sure what to put in them I because I want a firm ride.

 

TLC, anyone?

I can't see this going on it seems completely wrong. I added Grease to the shocks and put them but still waiting on actual shock oil. I had to buy a screw set because it was missing so many, driveshafts are wrong also so they need tinkering

You mean the tire stuff?

 

People use this green slime stuff on o rings for the shocks to help them expand.
