It’s looking good! I picked up another set of vanquish chassis rails, I’m using them for mocking up right now, but either use them on the honcho or deadbolt, or start another build. I finally saw a video on YouTube that made me want to continue with that proline metric body. Right now, I’m trying to get the servo mounted lower on the vanquish chassis for the UMG.

I may grab a a umg for this still and put that sr5 body on my honcho. I saw one at the local hobby shop and the cab alone has the parts I want instead of being in another bag or with he rear

I just bought the body off ebay. 4 separate parts. Cab, bed/cage, bedsides, and interior. They come with parts trees, sticker sheets, o-rings, and bolts. And yes, the interior detail parts tree comes with the cab and the interior. Less than $100. Then I ended up buying another bed/cage to mod for my honcho. I was wanting to shorten the honcho bed, then while building the UMG i was like, I could make this work, so I bought another bed. Ive added some detail to it since this pic.

I just didn’t know much about it. Is it very upgradeable? Does it need any upgrades? What kind of fun stuff is there for it?

It's probably the best supported crawler by the aftermarket. From performance to scale appearance the scx10ii is the crawler all other are compared to. What do you want to do with it. I'd say upgrade as needed. Not necessary to change things out that don't need it

Haha, hang on to that wallet. The mod bug for the RC crawlers hits almost as hard as the Tacoma.

I literally just bought a new body, paint, some small parts. Easy $100 but just ordered $20 more from Amazon. These are for the “kids” .... wtf

Picked this and a few others up a little bit ago. Time to start working on it a little and try to get it back to running status

I want a bass boat to pull behind my scx10 sometimes. Then I remember how nerdy that would be because id play with it in my room by myself. That being said I've almost bought the 1/10 bendpak lift about a half dozen times since last Friday

I think I really comes down to what you like the look of and how much you want to spend. If you don't plan on modding the crap out of it, any RTR is going to do well, IMO. I still run out of the box RTR electronics on my SCX10 v1. Everything I've done to mine is cosmetic, aside from moving the battery.

that's pretty much the direction I took since I just take mine on camping trips and whatnot. I made one to look similar to my Tacoma and one like my dad's old F100. I know with the Traxxas remotes I have you can bind multiple vehicles to one remote, if that's something you want to consider.

Been looking around for a while too. I think the Element RC Enduro is a good model. I really liked it and was about to buy it until i saw the new vanquish VS4-10 pro kit. A little pricey but it has everything i wanted. Just arrived today! Super pumped!
