Here’s my goat so far. I ordered another set of body panels to also try another color and graphics. I just put these wheels on for a few pics, i need to find my 225 SLW hubs to narrow it up as much as possible. Hopefully get it out and actually test it this weekend.

You’re ahead of me. Getting pissed trying to get all the electronics installed. Still needs paint. I’ve got a few wheel/tire ideas....

It's far from ready. Nothing mounted permanent, I don’t like the battery slot placement. Another full day of tweaking and installing, it’ll be ready to run.

Stock panels just now. I have some more lexan coming and I’ll try something a little different. Copy and paste pic to Word and resize to 8.5” width. The length will autosize to 11.7”. When it prints it cuts off the bottom 1/2” or so.

    Or

Open pic in MS Paint. Print setup, adjust to 100% size, reduce margins as small as possible, and print.

Im this far along.... Still need to decide on a motor and esc. I have 2 brand new Holmes 550 cans that I can't use. If I gotta buy another motor I might go brushless. I have a tekin fxr that would do fine with a brushed motor. Considered a Magnum from Holmes... And Hitec discontinued the 7950 so I may try a Futaba servo too. Time to spend the real money now.... I have some 1.9 wheels and tires but still need foams and a set of 2.2 for when this goat outs on some high heels. I did cheat and toss on some trx4 shock I had built already. I like the way it looks so far

My poor Capra on recycled parts. LOL.

Chinese rebuildable 80t motor, HW1080, cheap JX 36kg servo, 1” wide CI wheels and 5 year old Ripsaws. I need to paint the interior and fuel cell as well as come up with a better wheel tire combo. A 50t motor is coming to replace the crawl speed of the 80t. I was gonna use the 90mm Yeti shocks off of one of my Wraiths but the steel ball ends of these won out. I used the little rubber bushing Axial has for the upper shock mounts to limit these shocks to right at 90mm.

I considered stealing from another truck but then I would be in the same position. Best to just save up and get it when I decide what's best

That’s funny, I actually have TRX shocks on mine in the pics I posted haha. I finally built the capra shocks today, i put the traxxas white springs on them adjusted so the spring doesn’t flop at full droop, ill test them out, maybe try the a axial white springs for 90mm shocks, they maybe a little softer. If that doesn’t work then idk. I got everything mounted today, BRXL, Crawlmaster pro 16T(hopefully fast enough), i got the dig servo working, a protek 130T steering servo(because 330 inlbs for a plastic mount), and a BEC at 7.4v for the steering, I found my 225 SLW hubs to get mounted. I will be testing tomorrow.

I had it in my OG Honcho. Enough TQ you could hold a tire and it’d pick itself up and flip around at a controlled rate. But it was numbingly slow with zero wheel speed. I was just going to try it with a big pinion since the Capra was said to have tall gearing. But even so, it doesn’t have much wheel speed. Double the wheel speed would likely do me fine though.
