I’m running an 1800kv in this truck. I run the same AXE system with a 2300kv in my sport. I love this system. I’m using the stock pinion gear now, but it’s to fast. Planning on changing the pinion. I’d definitely recommend the axe system. The TRX4 is next to the Capra

I had a reefs servo go bad in my wraith, the return process left me not feeling great. I hear good things and the 555 in my venture has been solid. The one he sent me is still in the package and I have not been able to bring myself to use it. I have looked at the eco power but it does not spec as well as the reefs I can tell just by feel that the spektrum will not be a forever solution.

I chose a 2200 Kv puller pro stubby with an 11t pinion. Ill see how it goes tonight in a couple hours when I get home.

Goes person to person I suppose. There’s a guy on Facebook that burns my post every time I mention reefs, cussing at me. Lol.

Me personally, I’ve never had problem with reefs, nice guy in my experience. I love their servos though

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

She will get you going...slow, then drop you off quick.

I got my buddy back into RCs today. He wanted the TRX4 and that’s what he got.
...and then he broke my Bomber the steering in my Bomber somehow. Lol

I’d certainly recommend it. It doesn’t come with a servo saver, but if you set your end points right that shouldn’t matter.

I ordered a supershafty servo mount. AJ flubbed and shipped out a few of the new ar60 mounts instead. Mine is on the way but I have to return the other when it gets here tomorrow.... he did make an offer to discount this one.... may use it on a bomber.

Any cheap power systems to go with the bomber? My girlfriend wants one but I’m not sure if I go RTR or kit.

I am running a Holmes trailmaster brushless motor when they were on close out for 50 bucks last spring. The ESC is a mamba max pro that i picked up second hand and put some conformal coating on. I’m not against second hand electronics if i can see them pickedup

I installed a holmes 13T Magnum motor and an 11T pinion to try it out...slipper slipping bad. I definitely see the need for a slipper eliminator on the capra. First off, you need to put grease in the slipper and pinion gears, second, the slipper plates are like mirror finish, and thirdly, the spacer that holds pressure on the slipper is plastic...and the clutch is half the size of an scx10. Maybe a short traxxas spring would fit, idk, I’m going to put some washers in for now and crank it down.
