Anyone into R/C?

The whole rally car chassis is practically a slash. It’ll be ran for the first time today. That’s just the fast off-road stuff. Ha. I’ve got a few crawlers and I used to race touring cars as well.

 

A few more shots of my truck and others from By The Fire. One thing I was going to ask, I don't like how the plastic sliders stick straight out, would prefer them to be more "up angled" any suggestions how to do that?

 

Hot air gun or a blow dryer and some gentle bending.

 

Anyone know who will make custom 1.9 wheels? Trying to match my real SCS Ray 10's. Thanks

 

There’s a guy, Arthur Tsang on Facebook. He CNCs all kinds of RC parts. I’m sure he could do it, but it’ll cost a pretty penny.

I just made my own out of steel. It's tough to find the perfect fitting sliders

Unfortunately I don't do FB. I've contacted quite a few wheel makers but mostly only sell what they already make. Thanks for the info tho.

 

That was actually my first set. It took me awhile and some reworking to make them to the proportions I liked. Again, time consuming as a novice with basic tools, but not difficult. The challenge in life is finding the time to be honost. Anyone can do it.

Alright! I need to recruit some help. I’m trying to source some pink VP wheels for my girlfriends bomber. Or at least someone that can anodize them. I was talking to the guy at super Shafty, but the second I answered back what style wheel I wanted anodized pink i got ghosted. Haven’t heard back from them at all.

 

Wish I could help. I'm currently trying to find someone to make a set of 1.9 Ray 10's with no luck so far. Lots of wheel makers on IG.

 

Why don't try to get them powder coated locally somewhere?

With how small wheels already are, I think the powder coat will be to thick.

 

I've talked with a few people. Either don't do requests or want way too much. I may have someone. They are drawing it up to show me before he makes them. Very reasonable price.

Strip the wheels to bare metal and get them anodized pink.
