He might have 700 in it, but that doesn't really mean anything. Unless it's absolutely pristine you're not going to get 370 out of it. If you're not hurting for money and want to get into the hobby, doesn't seem like a bad deal though.

If you're trying to make money, I'd say no.

Can't tell much from that picture, but like I said. If you want to get into R/C it probably wouldn't be a bad deal. Ask him to fire it up and try it out, make sure it runs good. And always, be as jewish as possible about any deal you make. :)

BeastX is stupid easy to setup. I love it. On my 600 I did nothing other than adjust my tail gain and it was dead on! Once you go FBL, its hard to fly barred again.

The blades spin slower the bigger they are. I think I have my 600 rpms up around 2100-2200. My 500, I have no clue yet, but it should be around 2800rpm. My 250 sounds like a pissed off humminbird and should be around 5000rpm, never clocked it though. Fly simulators to get good. Phoenix costs around 100 bucks, uses your existing controller. I started doing piro flips in the sim, then one day when I was flying my 250, forgot I was flying the real thing and starting doing piro flips on accident. Realized I could actually do these things, haha

Gov's are standard these days, I hate them though, makes it hard to program the gyro. I just run flat throttle numbers now.

Oh no, I have the Phoenix sim. It comes with a decent radio, or you can get it without a radio, and buy a nice radio that you can bind to your bird and fly with it in real life (can do this with the dx5e that comes with it too).
