I have both style axial transmission.kit and rtr. My rtr is all VP internals and never had a failure yet and my kit one has the VP atlas t case on it With metal axial gears. But im yet to test it

I forgot they made that atlas case for the 10ii. They did a front bulkhead for a yeti too. Maybe with the bomber coming back out they will do something

I have the other style of the atlas for the 3 gear as well. But it doesn’t work with a rtr 3 gear so it just sits in my basement

Put the right skid plate in the IFS truck and replaced the stretched out links in the rear of the honcho. Maybe i should put the old skid in the honcho....

If driven scale it will last forever. Everyone I know launches them like a cheap slash and they break

I’m wanting to build a fast crawler, but I don’t think it could compete or even be half as fun as with a UDR. I should just buy a UDR, but they weren’t available yet a few weeks ago when i was looking. I think the point of scale driving a UDR is smaller jumps and desert style drifting, it isn’t the same as flying off massive Jumps or killing it at the skate park like a XMaxx.

You need to make some links. Order some stainless 5mm rod, m5 die, and Traxxas end links. Cut the rod to length and chuck it in a cordless drill. Drill it into the die to cut the threads and then screw the rod ends on. Easy peasy.

Maybe can use 3/16" rod from the building supply and whatever standard die it fits.

I have the old vanquish links. I just swapped in those cheap ones because they looked kinda cool and i was to lazy to change ends on the vanquish. But i just replaced the bent one with a traxxis ends and vanquish rod.

I been thinking of making custom ones so i can stretch the wheel base though. I wanna push the front axle out
