New body for the new nitro truggy. Hopefully tracks start opening up soon. Getting tired of staring at all my extra sets of new tires! Gotta use em!

Finally put some paint on the vs410. I went back and forth and finally got it done. Decided these two will be driving it. Now I gotta pull it back apart and strap them in. Still need to order a front axle for it too but they are back in stock finally as well. Time to jump on it

Back packs on the back deck. Flash lights rolling around the floorboard. Hand held radios in the lap. Compass on the dash and wrist rocket in the bed. I love all the little things that come with nice figures and the way they fit into a build cracks me up.

I finally painted mine too, really dude?! Hahaha! I definitely won’t do the detail that you do though. I actually wanted a teal color like SBG did on his origin body, but i haven’t been able to reproduce that yet.

Looks great. I was able to put the rigid q series lights in the grill up front but I hate to run a led controller for two red led lights.... Maybe I can figure out some taillights and rock lights in the same system did you do any lights?

thank you, it’s actually a TS color I painted over a PS clear, so i hope it holds up. I’m using the powershift rc kit. Headlights and taillights. I need to paint my interior, get the electronics in, installed my vfd dig last weekend, ready to get it finished. Its basically a pro with D44s instead of F9s. Ive been working on a few other trucks i need to post some pics of, a lcg ish vanquish power wagon and a gspeed chassis.

You would be better cleaning it up and selling it stock w/o the portal boxes. Rockjocks haven’t been available for a while.

@odomandr you are on RCCrawler.com right? Is anybody else on there? Post a picture of those lights when you get a chance.

Yep same on there but hate that they don't host photos and I can't browse it on mobile without getting pop ups interrupting the page load... Not doing Tapatalk.. it could be such a great forum I'm not sure who is letting it waste away

The ads are annoying. I’m not doing the tapatalk either. It just seems really slow, I’m a newb so nobody replies to what i post, its a little annoying. If you pay you can upload pictures . Its funny how you see so many people viewing the section, but there hasn’t been a post in days, I’m baffled. Always about 40 plus people “viewing” the scx10I section but not a post in days. The hobby wont grow unless people come out of there shell and post what the build or even their opinions. Wtf. /rant.

I have been on there for four years and it's always been a tough crowd or little interaction by those active. I tried to create a thread for all my trucks. I doubt I'll update many of them and when selling stuff I just share my phone number and tell them to text me. Too slow to even check the site imho I should stop too but this site is so great it is hard to compare others to it

i have been debating about creating a build thread, basically cover all my trucks and whatever im working on, not sure its worth the effort. I think forums are just dead anymore, the FB groups and the social media crap have left them in the dust. I guess the instant gratification from replies is usually shit talk, or it just gets buried by a bunch of other nonsense because the lack of organization.

Our thread here has been more active than rcc has been at times. While it ebbs and flows they don't do much to keep the brand reps active and engaging the customers. Sometimes Rich from horizon or Brandon or Josh from vanquish post but they used to be some of the most active members. Their time is devoted to other places too now

I've been on RCC for almost 6 six years. I try to stay as active as my interest. So I'm thread specific to what is current I'm subbed to. I do use Tapatalk and love it. RCC, RCGroups, VWVortex, 3 other Toyota forums, a local to me offroading forum, a couple of gun forums, and a few other random forums for just their funny pics. Tapatalk keeps all my subbed posts organized as they are updated. It's actually pretty painless if you just pay the $5 a year and you're golden. Tapatalk will host the pics, too. I was heart broken when TWorld and IH8Mud dropped that format.

The current forum software actually does pretty well with mobile devices. And from a forum admin perspective (not TW), that was the biggest reason for dumping it.
