I worked over where Google's main campus is today (I actually worked on the building when the company I worked for built it). The two pieces of property were collectively referred to as "Farmer's Field" which it was. Wasn't too much else out that way back then.

I digress. At the time, I used to build and fly gliders. You could launch with a hi-start and enjoy the lift for a couple hours before going to work. A couple of us would meet in the morning to fly. Occasionally, a couple of guys used to come and fly their giant scale WWII Mustangs. What a treasure to see them fly. One morning, we noticed a pile of debris at one of the light standards...it was so bad, they just left it piled. Unless you'd seen it whole, you probably wouldn't recognize the pieces. The remains of the engine, a few servos and other electronics plus fuselage and wings-none of it escaped serious damage. We thought it had been done on purpose. But why?

Flying is a lot of fun. Just requires a lot of work.

My Honcho. Been trying lots of wheels and tires. Going a little more scale.

I have a set of stamped wagon wheels on mine and some GMade 1903 tires. Similar to the 1st pic you just put up. Ditch that big bumper for the Jeep Spyder bumper. It tucks in better and overall looks better.

These are the Injora ones and they are super heavy. 107gm each. Liking them so far, very easy to get the beadlocks set.

I know a lot of people don't like the honcho bumper, that it sticks out too far and too low, but I really like the look of it so I haven't wanted to replace it....but I'm open to ideas! What Jeep bumper are you talking about? Pic?

Deans connectors on everything. I use them on anything 12 volt, like my battery box for my camper.

Do you guys have any suggestions for a budget RC for my 2 year old? Not trying to break the bank, but also don't want junk. He loves driving the trucks, but my brushless are too much for him. Was thinking these two options, leaning more towards to the Granite as I feel replacement/repair parts are more regularly available.

    https://www.amazon.com/ARRMA-RC-Monster-Truck-ARA102727T3/dp/B081TKVCHV/ref=sr_1_4?crid=37AXFO7GPMN0S&dchild=1&keywords=granite+rc+truck&qid=1605313093&s=toys-and-games&sprefix=granite%2Ctoys-and-games%2C216&sr=1-4

Seen good reviews on this one, but worried it breaks and finding parts will suck. Also 4wd which might be nice to have and a good size for him 1/16 v 1/10.

Anyone have a good recommendation for 1/10 scale pelican style cases and rotopax for bed and roof racks? I can find cases just not low profile gun type cases.
    thanks :hattip:

I built this back in the day. My father in-law has a ton of R/C stuff. I’ll get some pics and post them soon.

Finally started my ifs chassis. Got it mostly complete. Still need to fine tune the suspension but I’m liking how it’s turning out.

My “rode hard and put up wet” CRC Bloody Knife. Put on the shelf as is 20+ years ago after a race.
