They are a 3d printed kit. Mine are the older kits with lots of printer lines to fill and smooth out. His New kits are different and much better with new printer technology.

Those are great! Did a good job with yours too, it came out nice!

What chassis do they fit? Do you know if it will fit the RC4WD Trail Finder 2 chassis? You wouldn't happen to post on RCCrawler forums would you? I'd love to see a build thread if you have one.

I'm new to this so I used the chassis built for this body. Not sure what other chassis it will fit but with modifications I'm sure it will fit others. Here is my build thread. I'm not on RC Crawler but o do visit it.

Ordered a WPL C24 kit and some upgrades 1:16 scale. A friend had one out camping and I thought I needed to make it into a 2nd gen.

I've been thinking about getting one of these as well! They look really neat and are super low priced so of course I wouldn't expect too much from the little guy. What do ya think so far?

That one was my friends ReadyToRun kit, mostly plastic with apparently some factory upgrades. Seems like a decent kit, needs some bolts tightened out of the box. He ran it around for at least an hour and the battery wasn't draining. I should have mine in a couple of weeks, got the DIY kit with some upgrades. @HIghlande2 and I are doing a "$100" build challenge, $100ish minus the electronics.

That sounds like fun! Is it just using a hundred bucks to put what ya can into it? And is that 100 aside from the cost of the vehicle? I was thinking about getting the white one cuz it comes with everything and then spending 40 or 50 something on the blue one so I can just toss in the needed pieces from the white one and have the white as a spare body and components.

The connector is spektrum smart proprietary and its called IC3 I believe. Maybe IC5. It has an extra pin in the middle of what is basically an EC3 or EC5 respectively. This pin provides the data that a smart transmitter can display on their higher end radios

As @odomandr said, the newer Arrmas have an IC5 connector which is proprietary Spektrum (Horizon Hobby owns both Arrma and Spektrum) but is compatible with the more common standard of EC5 which you'll find on plenty of the larger surface RC LIPOs. If you've not found it definitely check out https://www.arrmaforum.com/ it's VERY active and pretty much any question about RC you can think of has been answered there. I see it's tempting for new users to think the Spektrum smart battery features are worth it and maybe it is to some, but the performance of the batteries for the cost doesn't seem to be worth it. Yes it makes charging simpler for a newbie but I don't see that as a good thing since you should be fully aware of what you are getting into with LIPOs that are this large.

Just got back into RC myself from a 15 year absence (nitro HPI Savage X) with new v5 Kraton and Typhon both in 6s. Now I'm full steam ahead trying to get into FPV drones but DJI goggles have been on back order for a while from chip shortages and a new release of their own drone that is packaged with the new v2 goggles.

I appreciate that! Thank you for taking the time to play it out for me
I think im more looking at the arrma mojave now as I dont have a ton of room to use an infraction. My neighborhood has a huge field and I think an offroad truck would suit me better. Do you reccomended any batteries that would work with an arrma that arent 250$?

Seems everyone loves their Mojave and may be one of the overall tougher Arrma models. Besides the street vehicles eat wheels so you've got to plan for plenty of spares. People seem to have good luck with the LIPOs you can find on Amazon. I think the Common Sense RC branded 5000mah 6s I got from Hobbytown were $120 in December. You can get two Hoovoo 5200mah 6s for the same price on Amazon. Check this thread: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/what-is-your-rc-lipo-of-choice-in-2021.33223/unread you'll see plenty of decent results across all batteries.

Here's a great YT channel for various Arrma vehicles, dude really sends it:

Look up Rich Duperbash as well another amazing driver (pilot) that does full sends.

Anyone else got the longing for an Axial Ryft? Won’t be long and the kits will be released after the general market did the testing phase. Figured Horizon would at least not follow in those footsteps. But they are releasing replacement parts rapidly.
