Well, I got the bug again. Ordered a Gatekeeper from someone. May grab another rig nearby and swap some parts around.

Hey everyone! Im just starting to get into this hobby again. Here's my Axial Wraith Spawn that I just picked up.20210429_162250.jpgSince this is new to me, I didnt think to have to tighten up bolts after breaking it in, thus stripping out the hubs where the needles hold it place.
I already replaced the hubs after having it for two days. I did the Axial hex hub conversion, and while I was at it, I upgraded the steering linkage to the aluminum set.20210501_192440.jpg

Go ahead and start looking for a better servo while you’re at it. It won’t be long and it’ll die. Then you can stick a beefier one in with a metal arm.

Whatever your budget allows for. There’s $50 servos upwards of $200 servos.

Well I bit the bullet and got a new comp build. Saturday I picked up a GameChanger 4.3 stage 3 kit. I needed a new class 2 rig and this was a good excuse to give me something to do. I have enjoyed the previous generations of this chassis and still have a set of scx10 axles with xrmod under a GameChanger 3. The crawl space is a great shop and they are holding a big event in June with all sorts of stuff throughout the weekend at red rocks.

I signed up for class 1 to run with my hpi venture on Friday. It's a fun rig when i drive right and although it won't be amazing compared to full class 1 comp chassis's, I should be able to do alright with it being as it is my most consistent rig with little change.

I'll drive the class 2 rig I'm building on Saturday and I need to get some driving time on it before the event comes.

The scale adventure Sunday should be a lot of fun as well. I wish I could find a d44 axle for my vs410. They are long gone I believe though and I may have to go another route.

Anyone wanna come drive tiny trucks and full size trucks in June..... https://rocasrojo2021.square.site/

Decent power slow though. Compare his ultra power servo to a Futaba high end and pay attention to the speed and the oz/in

Interestingly enough, right after you said this, my servo horn stripped out...

Lol. I found some on fleaBay China the right size and ordered a small sack of them. This was a few years back but they still took 2-3 weeks to arrive. Look for one to clamp onto the servo as well as a bolt to hold it on.

Not everything used will be easy to sell..... Or maybe I just can't help it and end up rebuilding them into something I don't want to let go of.... that's how I ended up with an xr10, a wraith and a bomber.....

I called Axial and I guess that their warranty covers any defects unless they are from deliberate abuse for two years.
Their sending me a new shock since mine is leaking after having it for three days and an upgraded aluminum servo horn.

Post some pics when you get it together. I almost bought a class 1kit from ikika at USTE,but he didn’t have one on display to check out. I ended up getting a gspeed class 1 and building with 10.3 axles. And I would absolutely love to come to Colorado to 1:1 wheel and 1/10 crawling...love to. I pick the best hobbies and live in the worst place for both. Uhg. I have been thinking and should probably just schedule a vacation and actually go somewhere and do something fun.
