Hey guys, wondering if anyone has ever tried mounting RC4WD 0.7 wheels meant for the 1/24 trailfinder on an SCX24. I'm planning out a more scale build, and the 0.7 wheel/tire combo is nearly the perfect size for 1/24 40s as opposed to the 1.0 tire/wheel options which end up being more like 50s+. It looks like they only use the axle pins instead of hexes, but I'm not sure if the scx24 axles and pins are too big. If anyone has tried this or maybe has both models and wouldn't mind trying it out, I'd appreciate the insight.

I have thought about it. The local shops all have .7 tires but no wheels on hand. I thought of stretching them onto the old Samix wheels that are glue on beads because they are designed around the stock size tires.

I’m surprised the link still worked. Here’s some old skool Losi Micro wheels with 7mm hex. Stretch the 0.7 tires onto them and look like every modern 4x4 that’s been modified.

Are those all 1.0 wheels? I could order the tires and try to stretch them onto some 1.0s I already have. Shapeways did give me an idea though, I could just print some 0.7s out of resin. And those are some cool bouncer frames, I may get one for another project. I was hoping to be able to get metal wheels, but I'll print some custom ones if I have to.

Those are doubled up, so there are 4 (two inside, two outside). My poor plastic locker didn't hold up and I smoked it.

I might go with the all metal unlocked diffs and put 1M weight fluid in there so it's mostly locked but can still slip if needed.

    It's a TRX4 Sport.

I thought so. I have the same rims on my trx4. What's going on with the rear shocks?

I believe they are shock keys. I'm not sure though, it's my friend's truck.
