Picked this up today, Element Ecto with Hobbywing Fusion, Savox servo, Hot Racing aluminum transmission, brass weights and light controller for $250.

I’m going to throw my JConcepts Ruptures on and run it.

    My toys.
Twin Hammers build from a few years ago. Had a hell of time getting the gearing correct, among other things. The stock 78t spur was crap and didn't offer much for reducing the speed. Was crazy fast and spent more time on it's lid than the wheels.
An ECX 87t spur mated to a 13t pinion finally tamed it down. The spur was just a hair big for the transmission shaft, but a thin piece of brass sheeting made a fine bushing and I'm finally able to run it.
3S 2250mah powered. Locked rear, open front with 5000w silicone diff oil.

Novak 3900kv brushless with a Novak Hammer esc, locked rear on 3S. Spectrum/Savox.

    1st gen SCX10. 35T RC4WD motor, 87t x 16t spur and pinion, no slipper clutch.
Quicrun 1080 esc. Stock Tactic steering servo, still working. Switched to Injora 110mm shocks running with an internal spring to pull it down and reduce body roll. Spectrum rx.
Body was off my 1st gen SCX Scorpion that has been around the block. It did time on an HPI Savage and has the scuffs to show for it. 3S 2250mah powered. Locked f/r

Stretched 4mm to center the rear wheels .

The original Scorpion. 2.2x5.5 Ripsaws with trimmed foam and loaded with lead tire weights all around.
45t Integy motor with 87tx13t spur and pinion. Esc is an older Rooster crawler, 2S max. Specrum and Savox. Stock shocks with internal springs to pull it down and reduce the body roll. Locked f/r.

I have no idea where I picked up the body or what it was, but it clears the tires.

The original HPI Savage .25 nitro. Body is not original, that one was destroyed long ago.
Currently running a brushless conversion with paired 3S 4000mah lipo's. The brushless runs circles around the nitro and will backflip it with ease. The wheelie bar doesn't help all that much.
43tx19t spur and pinion, 3250kv motor with Leopard esc. Spectrum and Savox. This one is a lot of fun for bashing and being waterproofed, is a blast to run in the snow. Still running original tires and wheels from over a decade ago. open diff f/r.

Yeti Jr. stock drivetrain, JB welded rear diff, open front.
Stock electronic died long ago. Running Hobbywing Quicrun 1625 with a 40t motor on 2S 1300mah.
Has the Tactic rx from the SCX10 with a Tactic TTX200. This is my go to for camping and front yard shenanigans.

The original Losi Mini T. Stock electronics still work but have gotten a bit twitchy. Waiting on USPS to deliver a Quicrun 1625 and another Tactic TR325 Rx to be paired with yet another Taxtic TTX300 that has been sitting idle. This one will be powered by 2S 850mah lipo to keep the smoke in the original motor. a Savox micro fits beautifully and requires no mount or tape as the little cover clamps it in nicely. Has the upgraded oil filled shocks that were available over a decade ago. Original tires and wheels.
Looking forward to racing this one up and down the street again.

Taigen metal version Sherman M4A3 75mm tank. Bone stock with a 2000mah nimh pack. Has sound, smokes, shoots 6mm airsoft across the yard. It's basically a carpet queen, dirt doesn't play well with the tracks.

and I just ordered a FMS FCX 1:24 crawler, ("Doug" Power Wagon body ) because fell into a deal on one that I couldn't pass up.
Should be here tomorrow. Looking forward to modding it up as needed.

Nice grouping that you have there.
If you ever want to get out crawling I am just down in Longmont and go up north quite often.

Got out for a bit for crawling this weekend since the weather was better than expected. Got to run 3 of my trucks over the weekend which is always nice. Including the first run of the Truck I call Stubby. A super SWB Element Enduro, with Axial ar45 axles, and a Shorted/bobbed Mojave Body.

I remember watching a video of these and they had new parts underneath. May as well been airplanes cause they were flying.

Pics of the Mini T electronics upgrade.
Everything fit nicely where the old esc/rx used to sit and overall it's lighter than the original stuff. Had to solder different motor leads on to use the bullet connectors and lose the old style spade connectors.
I can actually remove the preload shims from the shocks as it sits at full height now.
Really woke the little guy up. I can see new tires in it's near future as the original ones have lost their suppleness and are kind of hard. That means having to get hex drives though as the pin drives seem to be obsolete. The slipper clutch actually needed tightened as it was slipping way too much.

My bro and I at one of the last EJSs we were at in Moab..............

Between trails, and sometimes while ON trails if we had a large group, with a bunch that didn't have super rigs and wanted to try an obstacle; made for a LONG day, but great time to bust out the R/C crawlers.
The bronze crawler is VERY capable, but the 70's full size Bronco has the cool looks but not the super flex:

I always take my crawlers along on camping and wheeling trips, such a good way to kill time or explore a bit more around camp.

This thing is cool. Like out of the box cool. Headlights work, has a strong steering servo, hard body shell, strong motor, 2 speed transmission. Shocks came less oil but was provided with O rings to fill them with oil, which I did. Also weighted the inner beadlocks with about 7 grams each. Really nice little crawler for fooling around in the living room. Actually took it to work with me today so I could get nothing done.

Wheel is off the SCX10 for size comparison.

Might pick up a bed for it, Prime has two options, a stake bed and a regular box.
