I'm not a super confrontational person so I'm not sure how to press them to expedite it or what I would want for compensation. :(

I'm the same way. Like you mentioned earlier, hard to get worked up about a "toy" but it does still suck. I've been looking for some scale looking wheels/tires for it in the meantime. I have a spare set of LGRP Grippers, they look similar to BFG KM3's but aren't an exact match, they are a bit bigger though.

I've watched 2FM and CCxRC for mods. 2FM was able to get better steering performance by swapping hardware around on the front knuckles and slightly bending the steering linkage to not hit the front diff cover. CCxRC took out the springs to get the CG down. Between wheels and tires and those "free" mods it should make it pretty capable.

I just got some movement on the Fedex package this morning, so hopefully yours is already moving or soon.

The original I shipped back is still out for delivery in Florida, and FMS won't ship out a replacement till they receive that one and "process" it but they are also closed this week...

Damn. I was thinking since I ordered Sunday it wouldn't physically ship out until they got back. I was hopeful that there was someone there fulfilling packages.

I'm always irked whenever I see a CS agent who doesn't have mastery of the languages in their target market. This tells me that the company doesn't care about coms: Consequently they are less interested in establishing a repeat base and just want to pump out volume on blind order-taking.

Sucks, man. Hopefully theyll make it right.

" It's really a shame that you are making me return the first before fixing the issue. I paid for the item and this delay is impacting my willingness to continue considering your products in the future, my experience with your competitors have been much better"

Axial has sent me receivers/radios, servos, motors and escs that were dead on arrival. Losi sent me new shocks when they arrived broken on my drag car. Horizon sent me a Proline GTO body for free after it went on backorder back in July when they went through a system overhaul. All I did was contact them to inquire about solutions for the issue.... I just let them know about the issues and did not ask for anything for free ... they all went out of their way to make it right as soon as they could

Yeah USPS "lost" my package and Amain replaced it no questions asked. The first package somehow got delivered a few weeks later and I called Amain back asking if they wanted it back and they said to just keep it... NOt sure why FMS is causing so much headache over a relatively cheap RC.

Ordered a FMS FCX18 LC80 V2 the day they were released, and I received it Friday. Huge fan of their 24 trucks - 2 speed and portals! This one has it all plus a beautiful body and lights! The blue is absolutely stunning in the light too! It's about the same wheelbase as my modded FCX24's, and the axles appear to be the same. Lights differ from the V1, where the V1 had different variations too, but this one the roof rack lights are lit! Time to tune the suspension and do some trimming. The V1 is my shelf queen with the full interior, so this one will get driven and bashed.

Being in the hobby for the past 20 years, this truck is an absolute steal for what you get.

Some of my other 1/24's. C1 (ButterCup), C2 (Blue Dream), and C3 (Rock Lobster).

1/10 C2 50pt Comp Rig. "Hurt Feelings" since I run parts from both of the competing Denver shops - Either one I went to someone was butthurt about my truck. Also, Van.

I love the hurt feelings name for that. The division in that local scene has pushed me away from them both overall. Makes me want to build a game changer for tgh events and a tgh setup for crawlspace events. ... as a matter of fact I did drive game changer setups at the tgh event in red feather

I'm also curious about the events surrounding the crawlspace souths closure....

And finally it looked like ikaika the original owner of the crawlspace is getting something going in Florida after he sold and moved there to support family.

Haha thanks! Yeah this is a Game Changer with a TGH transmission, really gets the crowd going over there. TGH guys are great and they thought it was hilarious, CS guys not so much. Moved to the Western Slope in the spring and no one cares out here, it's all about having fun. I'm one of a few people with a powered winch, where everyone in Denver had one.

I had a different relationship with him as it came from his previous job before starting the shop, but yeah, hopefully he gets something going again.

I have watched this FMS order ping what seems like every truck stop on the way from CA to FL. CA>Las Vegas>Henderson NV>Phoenix>Albuquerque NM... Im guessing it will be in DFX TX this evening.

Hoping yours gets to you soon! Mine came in today and I’m pretty impressed. Can’t wait to take it out onto the rocks this weekend.

Haven't even gotten a tracking number. Mine got to FMS last Tuesday (10/3) and silence since then.

I'm going to blast FMS on their page on Facebook. So disappointed with them.

That’s really disappointing, mine just took a long time to get here - but your situation should have been handled better. It's a shame they aren't available on third party websites yet either.

I will say this has been the best 24/18 scale I have gotten out of the box. It's definitely better than my modded TRX4m's and is pretty close to my brushess/modded SCX24.

I've already had the FCX24 so I know for the most part how good it is. I just hate the company now. :p

Hope you enjoy yours! I already have wheels and metal lockers sitting around waiting for the dang truck to show up.
