Sounds good, if you ever need a break or to get out just let me know, I typically try to crawl once a week as long as the weather is close to acceptable.

Did my first motor swap yesterday, stock Traxxas in my TRX4M Defender died so replaced it with an Injora 48T. So far so good, and way easier and more fun than I expected it to be.

Recently swapped out electronics on my TRX4m to a Spektrum/Furitek setup. I kept the motor I had in there (Injora 48t), and with the Furitek esc it gets close to a brushless setup. It has taken the throne of my favorite in my line up right now - and I prefer to drive it over my FCX18, two different brushless SCX24's.

My brother is moving and gave me all this stuff. It used to belong to a family friend that passed away 15 years ago and this has been sitting since.
Tool box is full of extra shit.
I'll see if I can get some to run or maybe sell everything. Not sure yet.

I'd get that purple Savage running again. Those are damn near indestructible. I have one and it's a blast to bash.
Looks like it was modded a bit, they didn't come with purple plates. Shock springs look aftermarket too. 2 speed transmission was stock, 3 speed was an upgrade that wasn't worth it.
Engine looks to be the stock .25 for that year, same as mine. There are bigger blocks now. Runs pretty good when it gets dialed in.

It looks like it's all there. I'll get some nitro and start messing with it.

Get a battery for the receiver first and make sure the servos do the things they are supposed to do. A runaway nitro is pretty awesome for about a minute.

Yea I've seen that before. I'll be getting batteries this week.
I need to figure out HOW to start it. There's no pull rope. It has this electric starter. I'm sure I'm missing the dog bone piece that goes in it. There's still a bunch of stuff I need to go through. There's several boxes of shit here.

I'd get some new fuel lines and filter and may use some denatured alcohol to free up anything sticky. Soak the exhaust in it too. If it wasn't put away clean. Looks good though

I have 2 RC trucks.... which one is Stampede and other is Rustler ... both are brushless. I haven't used them since then I took the Rustler truck with me to the park to meet my friends.. we did the jumps, hill climbing, speed, etc.

My favorite was 360, I mean I drove my truck in 360 in dirt. Smoke all over.

After that I haven't touch my trucks since then.

@MikefromCT, I saw that video on YouTube other day. Very cool.

Santa spoiled me this year and brought me a zenoah 32 cc motor for my HPI Baja 5BSBK! This thing is a beast. Just need a couple 1:5 servos and I can build the beast!!!

    20231225_112044.jpg 20231225_112022.jpg 20231225_112206.jpg

I have wanted one since I saw them as a teenager tearing up the dunes in the mid 2000's, only to find they had been discontinued by the time I could afford one as a young adult. Found out HPI was re-releasing them last fall and pre-ordered they day they started taking orders!

Traded my redcat 64 for a redcat Gen 8 v2. I didnt think I would like going slow, but man this is fun.
Going to actually use it before I start modding things. Out the box it seems capable. Not a fan of redcat electronics but as slow as it is it should last. My UDR is so high strung something always breaks or burns up when I romp around on 6s.

I did install some lights though. I like the 1/10 scale better than the UDR 1/7 scale because there are millions of aftermarket parts for this. I've tried putting 1/10 scale lights on my UDR but they always look a little too small.
