How much should I price all this stuff?
The big truck (savage) does fire up and run.
I'd like to sell everything together. Just unsure how much?
The tool box is full of parts.

I personally am not a huge Traxxas fan myself. So they don't make my shortlist. Traxxas sued arrma over the big rock when it first came out. The laydown shock design, servo saver and waterproof receiver box were patented when they released the original big rock. The granite and the senton are solid trucks but the big rock was cooler in my opinion. Traxxas pursuit of patents ruin the hobby. They don't just stifle competition but they really put aftermarket companies away from supporting their platforms

I'd go with the Arrmas as well. :amen:

That Savage might be the only thing that will attract attention. Really tough to say as there isn't anything else there that's worth much these days. You might get lucky and find someone who really really really needs parts for an old rig. Like that Kyosho Inferno MP-5... it was from the late '90s and RIPPED! Parts for someone who wants to keep theirs running would be difficult or impossible to find now unless they came across a stash like yours. Analog radios with crystals are only worth something to those who want to hang on to the past, IMO. It's just hard to sell old RC stuff unless they're sought after, like gold-pan RC-10s, original '80s Kyoshos, JRX2s, etc.

I'll be honest, if it were my stuff I'd just put it all in a box and give it away. If you have to make some money from it, your best bet is going to be on ebay. Good luck!

    Dirty, worth nothing.
All cleaned up and shine what you can, you may get some pretty good offers. Shiny stuff sells.
Like said above, it's all old, used stuff and none of it truly vintage. No way to tell where the components are in their lifespan. For the most part, the collection looks pretty nice, good tires, lots of metal goodies, but it's all covered in nitro oil and grime.
If the bodies are beat up, leave 'em off for the sale pic, otherwise it shows that the car was bashed.
The Savage is your best bet for a quick sale of all items, Savage for sale, $XXX.XX, comes with everything you see...

Didn't know that, interesting stuff! I don't love how the Big Rock looks but oh well

Double vote of confidence, very good to know... might be trying this Arrma brand after all!

Thank you. It was given to me.
I'll put it on Craigslist and ebay and see what happens.

Those HPI Savages were tanks. Traxxas had the edge with aftermarket support for the T-Maxx though.

The savage is in good shape. The body too.
I'm going to throw the hole pile up for 600. See what happens. I'm trying to save for a house. Everything has to go.

Finally decided to upgrade the wheels on the crawler to something a little flashier.

    Alright, stupid question.

I popped the front drive shaft. (Likely issue was tire rub combined with a slightly speedier motor swap. Wheel positions already corrected.)

I chose the stock 10 dollar plastic/aluminum shaft over the 30 dollar all-metal upgrade. My reasoning was that I like the idea that the first to break is a cheap and easy to access part, and not a diff, drive axle, or t-case.

The question is, is that a solid choice? Keep the weak link where it is, or start beefing things up as I break stuff?

For what truck? My answer is always beef everything up until it's clear the massive motor is the problem, then take that a step back if necessary (or drop a cell in the battery).

This guy. The Enduro KR. Currently its running on a 12T motor vs the stock 16T. Its just enough of a boost to put it into trail truck territory instead of crawler (where it really belongs), but shouldn't be nearly enough to cook anything.

I think you are right. As soon as I burn through all the parts in my replacement kit (hopefully not soon) I'll probably start upgrading.

I like RC tacoma. I'd like to have one in black and match my truck.

I'm considering to sell my RC trucks to get RC tacoma. Maybe not. Who knows.

That one was a dangerous gateway to other wastes of money. :cookiemonster:

It has a lot of accessories available to really custom it up to be a shelf queen, but the bad news is that most of those accessories only exist as a digital file. I got the truck as a birthday gift, and a month later I found myself buying a 3D printer so I could install the interior and headlights/taillights. Its been a fun toy though.
