I was thinking of keeping things simple with an aftermarket brushed setup. Considering the mofo big block or torque beast with injora's overdrive r&p gears for a little speed boost without going nuts. Just wondering if anyone else has done something similar with a trx4m.

I dont know if it helps - I have two TRX4m's one with a Mofo Torquebeast X and the other with an Injora Purple. There isnt much difference in the case of wheel speed and the Injora is a bit smoother. The TBx does seem more torque, but both seem to slow crawl the same. Unfortunately both of mine are on crawler gears.

I thought I saw people putting in the FMS speed motor (for the FCX line) on their 4m's and getting a pretty good speed boost.

I'll give the injora purple a shot since it's cheap and can be here today. If I end up needing a little more, I can give the fms one a try.

Another vote for the Injora purple. Cheap, effective, plug-and-play.

If anyone's in the market for a UTB18, they are on super sale everywhere now. Too odd of a scale for me, but just thought I'd spread the word. Supposedly they're clearing stock for a new release.

I think they are blowing out the remaining stock of V1's? Still for ~150 not bad.

Especially considering they were like $220 before. If it had 4WS I'd be all over it.

Was wondering if you're willing to just sell the 2nd gen body? If so, how much?

It's not perfect... I sucked at painting but I'd like to sell it all together but just the body with no RTT or bedrack id let it go for $25 the roofrack would be included

You think it would fit an Axial SCX10 iii chassis?

Oh that I'm not sure.. I know I had to trim quite a bit to fit on the Enduro chassis

This photo was the sales pitch for your knightrunner. I was there when it happened and we all said you're the most responsive TW seller we've ever heard of.

I think he had the tracking number before the roast came off the smoker. We expected 24 hours before a response to the initial PM saying he was interested and you had that thing ready to roll within an hour.

    To be fair...

this is the most action my rig has seen since last fall. Some landscaping rocks piled against the steps and leftover bricks from the patio.

    Edit:

We managed to drain the battery for the first time, so that's a win!
