Just ordered an Injora red 66T motor for the AX24. Was running it last night and noticed the motor is realllly struggling with what are effectively stock-weight wheels/tires, so it's time to replace the motor. $12 shipped, so not breaking the bank. Know there's better options out there but can't argue on the price. Will do servos next (probably look for a Black Friday deal) as they're definitely tired as well.

Also have some Injora "rocks terrain" tires for the C2X coming today and some Injora wheels that were very on sale ($35 --> $18) for it are en route as well. Don't *love* the King Trekkers that are on it now, they perform well but not loving the look so going to change it up a bit.

Next project is to sort out the MN82. It's a fun truck but the rear suspension is a mess, the shock/spring + leaf spring setup is a huge limiting factor in how it performs.

In other news, charging the Ascent 18 for probably only the 3rd time since I've had it, and I'm using it probably 4-5 days/week at 5-15 minutes a clip. Battery life is seriously impressive on this thing and with heavy-ish Injora wheels and XHX Pins it's an indoor crawling monster.

I'm not sure I will mess with mn82 much if at all. Just drive it around the living room on a rainy day.

The body is nice albeit very small. The chassis and electronics could use attention but that rear suspension is almost laughable.

It's a little too big for my house so I'm using it outside now, letting my 2 y/o play with it. It definitely feels a little fragile but I've already gotten my $45 worth of enjoyment out of it so if it breaks it breaks, will repair as needed (aside from the rear suspension, which I can't stand as-is).

Yup, they packed a lot in for the extra money. Was already planning on the Mojave Grom on being my next RC purchase, so this is probably going to be my holiday gift to myself lol

Mine cost a lot more than just getting a BLX but I don’t regret it for how fun it’s been. I just want a set of the purple wheels so I’ll hold off on buying the green ones for now.

Assuming I find time today to switch out the servo I'll be going to Mini Moab tomorrow morning. Let's just hope for one carnage free day. :fingerscrossed:

I'll be out around 9:15 depending on traffic. I plan on being there for an hour or so, or until I break something again. :D

That REEF will be solid. Ive seen a lot of REEFs put in work.. I've been running a beefed up Titanium SAVOX servo in my 1/10 for years and its a monster too. I bet you'll be good.

I may try and meet you out there then...

Local spot known for its sandstone rock formations and texture like Moab Utah. Awesome local crawling. Like @Bikinaz said.. they have events out there..

@Bikinaz have you been out past Mini to Badlands? that's another good spot where they host G6 and other events.

I probably should have let the lock tight dry, but I couldn't resist. It's way quieter than the stock one, but doesn't seem more powerful. Of course it's just 10 minutes in the backyard. Well see tomorrow on the real stuff.

No, I usually do the wash by my house or Equestrian Trail at South Mountain. I just had a blast out at MM last weekend...until I broke a part 30 minutes in, and i gotta go back. :annoyed:

Oh, and a guy let me drive his fully decked Vanquish Carbon Pro builders kit. It was sweet!
