My first short course/basher truck. This thing is so fast on 2S lipo, I can't imagine how fast it can go on 3s!

Literally 1/2 the price they were about a year ago

Wish I liked the SCX24 platform more. Seems like they need so much right out of the box.

What motor and servos are you running on that setup? I thought nitro was dead. :bananadead:

Yeah they were great for the initial push on the small scale. But they need to update some things to keep it competitive moving forward. I may toss some meus axles under it along with a servo and links and wheels and tires.

Nitro is alive and well!!! I’m sponsored by Fantom electronics so I run their servos. I’m currently running a OS speed b21 ongaro edition. It’s a ripper!

Sweet! I miss the 1/10 nitro stadium truck era. The last build I did was a Tekno MT410, but I've been looking at a few 1/8 nitro kits on amain lately.

I just sold my stadium truck, AE T6.4. I’ve ran a few old nitro stadium trucks… it’s a challenge for sure!

I’m part of the Mugen seki team and I can’t recommend them enough.

The Tekno 1/8 kits are absolute tanks and are very capable/ easy to drive even with the kit set up. I always recommend tekno to newer racers or someone that has been out of the scene for awhile. Where are you located?

Well the front c-hubs on my FCX24 are toast, combo of them being weakened from the increased steering angle mod and the kiddo thinking it's a push toy...

Replacement front axle is like $30 for a stock one and $30-50 for metal ones off AliExpress

I have easily the initial price of purchase back in fixes and such into this thing. Might be time to give up on it.

Dang, maybe it's a good thing you didn't buy that FCX18?

I'll send you a pre-paid shipping label so you can ship that FCX24 to me and remove the burden from you :D

Shame that the warehouse in Helena closed.

We also had MHOR change ownership this year.

Ordered the Orlandoo Hunter rock bouncer kit with the 300 rpm motor. I have a FMS TX/RX combo sitting idle with the 2.2g servo, I think that might just fit inside. The motor should plug right in (not the JST plug).
The kit is on sale, I looked at one several months ago and was talked out of it. I talked myself into it at that price and realizing I already had the sparky stuff.
I think one of you had a FMS vehicle that was about to be shelved, might be a good project to use the electronics up.

I like 10th scale. 24th is getting small, 32 is beyond my willingness to deal

I've been going the other way, I prefer the smaller stuff. Until something tiny gets dropped on the floor and lost forever, then it sucks.

That's pretty cool to be sponsored. Phoenix, AZ, but I'll be relocating out of state before next summer. :bananadead: I'm shopping for lakefront property, but I just can't make up my mind on where.

Ignite made a neat nitro conversion kit for those T6.4's.

    https://ignitedesignrc.com/products/conversion-kit-for-associated-t6-4

Only pics of the MT410 I have. I never got around to masking and spraying the body. The rest of my current RC collection is a bunch of RC10 gold pans and a hoard of spare parts for them.

So I guess I'm into drifters now. Got this awesome little guy yesterday from my TWSS! I've only played with it for about 10 minutes each yesterday and today and it's an absolute blast to rip around the kitchen and dining room.
