It's quick and rolls pretty far off throttle. The drag brake helps, but I slammed it in reverse a few times looking for more brake.
So will be switching the RX in the Mini Z to this one since it has a F/B/R and the F/R RX will be more at home in the Z

have you ever driven the Losi Micro SCT? if so, how would you compare the two. https://www.amainhobbies.com/losi-1...2.4ghz-radio-system-silver-losb0242t2/p234580

i had one about 10 years ago. absolutely flew for a 1/24. IFS and IRS. the brushless had a habit of tearing up diffs if you were on pavement, but other than that a great truck. aluminum a-arms, some shock tuning, and a carbon fiber plate style chassis made it really impressive and durable. got rid of it a while back, but love the really small trucks, so this looks like a really fun substitution.

Edit: found a really old video i made of it. not a bashing truck, but i figured it i tuned it for big landings, it'd handle a course well. brought it to a 1/10 dirt course shortly after it, and it would actually clear about 3/4 of the jumps.

I've never seen the Losi micro, but I doubt the Orlandoo would take landings from that same height on the pavement. It's more of a scale-ish working model.
    Not my video.

that's an awesome little truck. looks like it rides similar to my Twin Hammers, which makes sense given the linked rear. i'm gong to have to get one of those. i'm about done building a 1/24 scale crawler from a Losi chasis with custom links and a land rover body that i forget who makes. this would be a perfect compliment to the tiny crawler. thanks for the video and feedback.

Funny you mentioned that, I have the Twin Hammers too. And yes the suspensions are similar. This little guy handles turns way better than the Hammers does. It will do a full 180 turn at speed on the carpet and not roll.. I think this one will be a good drift truck.

Maybe. I'm using an rx/esc combo and had to remove the case.
I'm using an FMS radio setup with the stock Orlandoo 3000rpm motor.
You can get brushless for these, there just isn't much room for anything to fit, so you gotta be creative.

Was gonna go on a trail run today with my actual truck but had to cut my trip short when my power steering pump shit the bed. Got home swapped the part and decided to fulfill my offroading fix with my 1/18 on my little home course

I used to play with Rustler at the BMX race track with hills. It works for me since I can jump the truck from one hill to other. More fun that way. Make sure to check BMX schedule so you can play while they aren't racing on that day. You can ask for permission to play there. WARNING: Practice first before you attempt the big jumps from one hill to other.

A friend of mine has big RC truck about the same size as BMX bike length. He did awesome job with jumps at BMX track.

Anyone have any personal experience with either Team Corally:
    - Asuga XLR 6S
    - Kagama 6S
    - Syncro 4S

    Or a
    - HPI BAJA 5B flux sbk

I want to back get into 1/8 scale again from my old Inferno racing days or maybe move up to 1/5. I have heard mixed reviews on the Traxxas UDR.....

I have a gas kit of the Baja 5B. There was absolutely no chance i was not going to own one when they were re-released last fall!

I haven't built it yet though. Have been gathering parts slowly over the last year. All I need now is servos and receiver.

Scale builders guild does a good series of videos on the electric version and KpopRC does a good series on the gas version.

It survived the first weekend! Thought we blew a diff but a rock got stuck in the wheel causing it not to spin. It’s the perfect speed for my 5 year old on the 50% setting.

Here's my Sakura M-scale touring car chassis with a Tamiya ND body. It's a runner, but won't ever see a race track. So I used magnetic mounts to avoid holes for body posts. I think sometime down the road I'll put everything on an M-scale drift chassis. That way it will get real trigger time and will be less of a shelf queen. The wheels are from MST and were the closest thing I could find to match the Enkeis on my ND Miata. :D Electronics include a HW Justock ESC, Trinity Punisher 17.5T motor and a Power HD low profile servo. I might make some vinyl decals to match my magnetic autocross numbers.
