going thru my spare heli parts. I think I'll use an old, new in box, RJX for the steering servo. Made in Germany too.
I used these primarily for the tail as they are fast and fairly high torque. Nothing like the NSDRC though. Pretty sure this will work just as good. The Savox pictured have been used for years now and have never had one fail. The're just slow and noisy. The KST's were used for the swash plate, and being higher torque, but .01 second slower, they may be another option.
I think I have 30 of these in various brands.

Pretty sure I can duplicate that double bend with the Injora Gladiator rear links and be close to the length. The double bend is only in the bottom rear.

Honestly the only reason I want a set of mazz links is to get a baseline for lengths and create my own custom length links with bends where needed.

I had the random thought to cut this out so I snapped a pic, traced my current chassis (for science) and went to see what kind of steel I've got in the garage.

That smaller piece is 1/8" thick stainless, which should be perfect. The larger sheet underneath is 1/16" so too thin for this I think.

The idea is that, if I can toy with difference metals and/or thickness, I can play around with designs for the hell of it. I wonder how strong of a co2 powered laser I'd need for carbon fiber?

Worst case I'll have my friend cut me up some as he just ordered two laser tables a few weeks ago.

Actually, it'd be a hell of a lot easier going the online route with SCS (this is for 8 pieces, 4 kits essentially)

Skid plate will need to be modeled up though...

I'm not familiar with all that's out there but that's actually a great idea!

Of course I just did that quick quote just for fun.

I figured after I run my chassis for awhile, if I can think of some way to improve performance by changing an angle or geometry a bit, I can just send out for an order after some quick CAD work.

Only took like 5 minutes to draw.

I figure I could just cut templates out of metal for mock-up purposes which by the way, the CF is actually 1/16" thick so the stainless I've got is far too thick.

I saw people even going 39mm when I was initially considering 43mm.

At least this way I don't have to worry about limit straps, not to mention they're half the price of other competitors like Proline.

I call my build the "I don't know what I'm doing budget build"

I wanted 39mm prolines because that was the "go to" but could not find them anywhere so I settled on the 40mm injoras. I have no complaints with the 49mm injoras on my ascent. Running 60wt oil in those
