Just wondering if anyone knows a trick on how to "brighten" up your front coils? After years of use, sometimes miss-use (LOL), that thick rubber or whatever the coating is, has gone from shiny fresh yellow to a dull yellow.

They have info-mercials for Nu-finish solution for your paint (literally j/j I know only way to restore paint is new paint) anyone have Nu-spring solution LOL? Without pulling them and recoating?

Any tricks to revive the color of the coating?

Fox recommends waxing shock bodies... I assume you could so the same to the coils.

:) Kinda figured, but was hoping that wasn't the case. Painting thick rubber coat never lasts more than a couple months.... :(

Coating is at near 1/8 in thick, friend owns a oil field coating shop, charge me $50 to sand blast and coat, but removal and disassemble springs and struts is a biatch! Lol!

There not preset, coil over packs, there literally selected struts and coils assembled.

Where is that NU-Spring info-mercials when you need it, lol

This entire truck has been ripped apart, even front cap swapped, I don't really want to go higher than it is. Same time I know what it would take to remove the springs and reinstall. It sucks

1st clean w/ degreaser, then detail w/ wet majic erasers pads. Those things really are amazing, they make anything look brand new.

Well... At least beer is always good :) Think I'll try a combo approach first. Lots of beer, lots of decreaser, and washing and majic wipes.

Never thought those would work, but well worth a try if they have been successful, plus get to drink beer!

    :)

What's the worst that can happen? Have to disassemble if it doesn't work, don't have to if it works :) it's a win/win

    Thanks guys

If we are talking about the MR.clean magic erasers your gonna need at least a million of them. They fall apart scrubbing dirt off my sneakers. Maybe try some scotch Brite.
