    Probably that or fuse box. Not sure what it’s for until You tells us what lights / brake lights / anything else electrical that’s wired into the top. But it is live, I can see that.

    Yeah just use a volt meter at the back. If you unplug that inline fuse and it loses power it confirms it. But I bet you'll have to get under a while to find the whole thing.

    Fused the Stop Tap...o_O
    Provide always ON (Hot) fused power from Battery with a "dual" run to cap.
    And a ground...

    I wouldn’t waste time removing wire once you’ve disconnected at both ends unless you are OCD.
