no bro refers to fraternity brothers in so-cal (at least my defenition and I use "bro" liberally) Bro-ed out or bro describes the typical frat boy (originally from so-cal) and his obsession with oversize, overflashy, and overpriced items. Thus XD rockstar rims, RBP grilles, and other items of the like

Bro rims usually come from manufacturers like RPB and XD [although XD also makes SOME non-bro/gay rims]

bro and gay are not interchangeable. you cant describe a miata as bro. but you could describe a f-350 with a 36'' lift and RBP grill gay

i wouldnt say that the rockstars are really over priced they are no more than other rims infact they are probably cheaper. The only reason I am doing all this is cause I bought some rockstars, havent even taken the center caps out of the bags they came in, and have been razzed about how they are too bro. I think without the center caps they look like a ba 5 spoke rim, there is no bedazzled thingys on them just some flashy bolts. Lol anyways enough pissing around trying to prove that murdered out tacos rims are too bro, i need to get back to work.

There's a difference between calling somebody a "bro" and being a "bro".

Like, "Oh hey bro, what's up?"

That's different then, "Look at that guy's Chevy with 27 inches of lift and 28 inch chrome wheels. That guy is such a bro."

I don't know how else to explain it.

Here I was wanting to know if anyone had heard anything on these wheels. Who would have thought that it would turn into a debate about how to be a bro. I think I will change the title of the thread to "Bro 101 An Everyday Guide to Becoming a BRO!!!!" You gotta love this site.
