I got my '11 not long ago and I was wondering if there is any way to scroll through the text on the head unit because it only shows like a max of 7 letters when a song is playing.
    anyone know??

one of my biggest gripes about the radio. I really don't care to see what mode (FM1, FM2, etc) i'm in, just get rid of that so i can see what the hell i'm listening to!!!

If you want to scroll through the artist/album/title etc. you need to push and release the TEXT button to see each one. To see the end of a long title, like people above have said, PUSH AND HOLD the TEXT button.

Hmm...I thought all the 2nd gens were push and hold. I know my '05 is. Maybe they changed something I don't know about.

I've tried with both the SAT and CD text. if a song name is too long to fit on the screen, it gets cut off. If I press the text button once, the text instantly switches from the song name, to artist or station. If I press and hold the text button, again the text instantly changes to the artist, and nothing else happens. I'm very involved with electronics and stuff so I'm positive I'm not doing it wrong lol. I'm just saying that for some reason, it doesn't work in my truck... Beats me.
