hey everyone, i got a set off tires and rims a while back, they are 17 chrome plated rims. i kno i kno; chrome plated rims arent the best, but the deal that i got for them with nitto terra grapplers was a crazy steal.

One problem i ran into tho, is recently the chrome plating has been peeling off. but its only on one rim, ive been tryin to figure out a way to take off the chrome plating on all rims so i can paint them black. but i couldnt find anything...anyone have any ideas??

Media/Sand blasting...You might be able to sand it if it's just the plating but it'll take a while longer than a blasting cabinet.

    New truck....so nothing yet
If you are using water pressure hard enough to peel chrome plating, it will also peel rubber. Just a thought.
