    Trying to find someone to weld in some TotalChaos cam tab gusset plates. Local shops around me look at me sideways when I try to explain to them what I need.

    Anyone know of a shop within the 495 circle?

    Thanks,
    -Mike

    @Darth_Yota

    Interested for have time for something like this? I'll pay and will bring your adult beverage of choice. :)

    All of the cam bolt hardware is new so dropping the lower control arms should be fairly easy.

    I could definitely help you out, only problem is I'm not incredibly mobile, and I'm on Martha's Vineyard.

    I have a guy at my shop that can do it, he's the fabricator for Kaizen Tuning. Shoot me a message and some pictures of what you need done and I can get a quote from him. I'm seeing him tonight.
    We are located in boxborough, MA off of 495

    Thanks for the offer Darth_Yota, I think the Vineyard is a little too far out for me to go for this type of job. I do appreciate the offer though.

    Hi Bruce, I just sent you some pics I grabbed from Google that should give your fabricator a good idea of what I want. It is just a cab chop mod as well as installing a set of Total Chaos cam gussets. Of course, I oversimplified it since he would probably need to remove the lower control arms and drill out the OEM cam gussets and weld in the new ones. The cab chop shouldn't be bad at all once the wheel is removed. Thanks again.
