There is. It's called the bolt mod. You can put a bolt through the center drip hole and people said it keeps it from blowing out in the car washes and when you drive fast. And people can't just take it out. Someone here told me about it and that is why forums like this are so good.

Yeah. New people should know it helps to secure it so it doesn't get stolen. Now I'm getting worried about the cat thefts. Mostly on my older truck where its not up by the engine.

As for my comment you quoted, my point was a scenario of how to get around the parts department wanting to change for installation when you pick it up based on the person I quoted.

I did a search and found the best price.... I think it was a dealer in WA... Less than $90 shipped.

Things must be pretty bad that people want to steal bed mats that you'd have to drive home with it in the cab.
