No problem. There's a 10% off coupon on there and free shipping. I think I'm in as well.

Here they are on @motogeek's Taco

Whatever I learn from you guys
Yes I did Get it powder coated and quality is awesome ( @JDEMELLO customer service is just as good as well). You will have the option to drill (for using what it really was designed for) or no drill which will still hold the weight of the vehicle and add protection. I got mine drilled for the just in case scenario but don’t plan on extreme rock crawling yet as this is my daily driver.

Interested in Motogeek's review. Have been considering these as well for the reasonable price and light weight.

BAMF are 65ish each side if I recall correctly. Don't wanna go too light.

Where's the weight on those OCF / MBRP sliders actually stated?

If they're actually that light, the installation and setup looks really really slick.

Little things like the fact that they have you put the rear bolts in from the opposite direction to clear brake lines without bending them shows me they put a lot of time and effort into their setup.

That, plus using the sturdy cab mount area up front for a mount, and then the part that clamps around the frame... all smart fab that impresses me.

If the 30 pounds a side is actually legit I'm saving my pennies.

The listing on Amazon, and a few other dealers, says 60lbs, but I've emailed MBRP directly and am awaiting their response before I order.

Cool, definitely post up when you get an answer. I know sometimes "shipping weights" can be egregiously inaccurate or be a negotiated dimensional weight or something.

I just called MBRP and they told me 60 lbs total shipping weight. Also asked about any additional discounts and got 15% off on my order.

What are everyone's thoughts on it being a two piece set-up? No worries about the connection point being a weak point?

I very briefly considered those sliders but the 2 piece design was part of what turned me off on them. Free shipping is nice, but in the end I got RCI sliders on order and I believe they will be an overall better product. We will see when I get them anyways!

The 2 piece design does not concern me. With the overlapping collars, as long as the ID and OD match up for a nice tight fit that’s probably the strongest section.

This makes sense to me as one of the outriggers to the Taco's frame is near the coupling and will bare the weight like any other rock slider. But I won't be testing mine in a rock garden to prove this. :D

ETA; It will be used more for door ding protection at the mall than the occasional off road adventure. :D:D

$577.99 to my door. Not much more than some nerf bars or steps so I jumped on it. MBRP15 :spy:

FWIW if you jump in on the RCI slider group buy the ones with fill plates come about $660. Add in whatever for shipping (150 in my case) and it is still a good deal for good sliders.

Hmm, MBRP in Canada, not to be confused with mbrpexhauststore.com in Texas, says the sliders ship in two boxes weighing 55lbs each.
