According to one of his posts Feb 4th in the "Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas" he moved to Trinity, NC.

 

Feb 2nd He also mentioned he works at Discount Tires, I would start calling some Discount Tire shops around Trinity, Charlotte and Apex area asking for Stefan Ray.

He did answer his phone when I called him, but immediately hung up on me after he realized I was trying to reach him regarding his car's extended warranty. I bet he pressed 1, to be taken off my call list!

They may care they have a thief working for them, or maybe not, but shooting them a message wouldn't hurt.

 

That's called wire fraud....

 

yeah, the whole "sensitive equipment" isn't really a thing...my wife is the HMFIC in a cardio vascular intensive care recovery unit (think post heart transplant and very very ill people who are hooked up to A LOT of machines keeping them alive). She says cell phones don't interfere with their equipment, and they work around very expensive and sensitive medical equipment.

Might I suggest this.
Get a printout of everything you have.
Bring it to your local VA hospital.
Take it to the HR Department. Or, Security(???)
Bring a friend so they know that you have a witness.
They may not be able to admit that he is an employee, to you, but I imagine the words they use will give you a good idea.

If he is working and stole from you, he is a federal employee that committed a crime across state lines. "Wire Fraud" was brought up.

You could also contact the General Services Agency. I had an interview with a GSA agent a few years ago about a company scamming vets with shady products sent without VA knowledge.

 

Does he work at the VA? He said the beginning of the year he works at Discount Tire, which makes sense since he's selling new tires cheap. He probably went to the VA urgent care since he's prior military.
